Re: The Darren Edmondson Thread
Yeah – I hope PC has been watching that televised Salford stuff and learning a thing or two. We have played long ball for 18 months and are very easy to work out, we have no problem solving capability and no other way of playing. Edmo needed to be made seriously aware that things could not continue in such a fashion indefinitely. The owner did that in no uncertain terms and gave him a chance; we have seen what he has made of that chance, sadly.Craigthered wrote:Bullet Edmo and bring in them two Army lads from Salford
Those key points for improvement were naive in the extreme and looked like something somebody off The Apprentice might cobble together to give Siralan the impression that they were a whizz kid whereas in reality they are clueless about business strategy and are just trying to bluff their way through.
Hindsight is a marvellous thing of course but I think PC could have done worse than asking Tony Keen to run things for him. Maybe he did and was turned down I don’t know, either way the team he has installed to run the club have been woeful and have not moved the club on one jot that I can see.
We will foller the soccer, over land and sea...

Re: The Darren Edmondson Thread
Not at any please.
The whole thing is farcical and we are embarrassing ourselves as a club.
I will look forward to going to Dover with no expectation of anything making any sense ever. By that time I expect a dream team of Austin Straker, Darcy Bustle and Nooki the Bear in charge of team affairs, with control of the office ceded to Paul Casson's pet goat (who I have every confidence can bring the strips into the shop on time)
Wake me up when it's done

We've had shouty loons before - tends not to work on a day in, day out, week in week out basis. Ok if you only see the lads once a week at training though.

Re: The Darren Edmondson Thread
No to the Salford lads and why would they come anyway Salford are in the second round of the FA cup, play offs of the evostick prem with games in hand, Class of 92 as owners so massive potential and they live in Salford.
They would be foolish to move on at the moment.

The salford managers are unproven at this level we need someone who knows this league and has a proven track record.

Re: The Darren Edmondson Thread
My worry is.
Our owner clearly doesn't have a vast footballing knowledge and is definately still a rookie when it comes to running a football club.
What kind of person will he bring in? and Will he be related to him?

The guys who run Fleetwood and AFC Fylde aren't footballing gurus. Are they? The Real Slim a former member of this forum wrote:My worry is.
