The club have just tweeted that tomorrow's game is still on, where I couldn't see any reason for it to be off anyway.
Popular side since '03.

It's not just about the pitch which I'm sure will be fine but that wind could cause structural damage and with duty of care to players and fans travelling. I'll be surprised if it's on. 65-70 mph gusts forecast for 3pm, twice as strong as last Sat. With the injury's we are carrying maybe not so bad if it's off. They need to call a sensible decision on this one as early as possible. These forecasts are pretty accurate these days.

I'm not going so I'm not bothered either way

I certainly wouldn't be taking too much notice of weather forecasts any way - they are very rarely right - last week they said it heavy rain for the whole game it started to spit in the last five mins

Of course far too many doom and gloom merchants and weather bores - stay at home if you don't like wind and rain

Enjoy the game

3-0
We have a big enough squad to cover injuries so at least it's going to give Paul cox a chance to see all his players

For someone who always hates comments on the weather Charlie. You don't half comment about it :P It's ok for you living miles inland. :D

People would be disappointed if I didn't comment Graham

I do attend my fair share of home and away games ( there' all away games ) and it stresses me out and spoils it when people go on about the weather as if we have loads of games called off :-)

Going to go with 1-0 Barrow. Conditions roll ruin the game if it's on in my opinion. Think cook will get our goal in front of just over 1,000 brave barrow fans

Your right Charlie, the rain did hold off last week but this lot today looks ten times worse. "an unfortunate combination of weather all at the same time, Parts of Cumbria will have up to 200mm of rain with 60-70mph gusts" was how they described it just now.

I don't think it'll be the rain that could possibly stop the game going ahead, more likely to be the fact that there could be structural damage around the ground. If it does go ahead, it's going to be wild!
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

The winds are much worse than last Saturday (at the time of writing) so it won't be pretty, and it's always a bit of a leveller in some ways.
Would expect a win, but I'm also expecting a freak goal or two...
2-2 Mo Fofana from long range and a Hearn tap in. Crowd 1010.

Absolutely ridiculous if they try and play a football match with these winds.

Looks like I'm not going to get out of Kendal at this rate.. Roads closed all around how are the players getting there with the flooding.
