I know talking to Brian early in the year how much he valued Edmondson.
Very sad to hear if thats the reason. Totally justified though, it was a complete shambles the way they did it. Theres a few other things that seem to be happening (or not happening) at the club at the moment which are very worrying.

And the vicar, priest, whatever he was.

Club Chaplain. My understanding is that he didn't resign - his 'services' were dispensed with.

Brian as people say a saviour and lovely loyal man and gentleman.Think we should just give thanks to him and not speculate as to reason for departure be it to do with current club policy or maybe health etc.He not saying and we should respect that and move on.

All the best Brian and hope to see you with us at Holker street now and again

Absolutely
Brian and Alan Dunn were instrumental in saving BAFC, there's no point in speculating "the ifs and if nots"
Thank you Brian for all you did

A very nice man and hopefully we'll still see him at HS in the future.

I know he was very, very moved when we gave him that framed print of some of his HS highlights which was signed by supporters on the back with messages of good luck.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Lovely gentleman. Led the saving of the club and there were some real highs when he was in charge. No need to speculate IMVHO

Thanks for all you did Brian

Yes Brian Keen and a few others kept Barrow AFC going.
Towards the end a number of Directors left due to what was differences.
It's a shame that he has gone as with Ray Wilkie two men who will go down in the history of the club .
Mr Casson has still to make history nlets hope he does.

Hope Brian does get chance to reconsider the decision in the new year! You earned it Brian and it's what everyone associated with the club wanted, please reconsider for the supporters and your family!

Yep I'd guess this is the real reason why BK is stepping down now.

Why would it be Tidds? I'd guess the two things are entirely unconnected.

When the old company goes then so does BK's last link with the club as BK's present position was only a symbolic one it seemed.
The company running the club now is solely PC's company and nothing to do with BK.
