Unbelievable ending i thought we played poor but somehow managed to be 3-1 up with 10 mins remaining the defence just fell apart its a disgrace to lose like that so late on the midfield were awful an the teams passing terrible paul cox has a lot of work to do with this team we should hopefully have enough about us to stay up.

Cox stating on BBCRC that is it now, the time has arrived for action. Lack of desire, lack of consistency amongst some of the current players. Much higher skill levels currently at Barrow than his winning Mansfield squad though that previous squad had the mindset and application levels to be winners. Time and patience needed and a lot of hard work.

Was it really unbelievable though?
Our defending was shocking for most the game and the first hour we were awful. As somebody above said, no leaders, and I think the third for them came seconds after Grand was announced as man of the match, he gave the ball away and they went up our end and scored.

Dixon made a couple of good stops - and still somehow looked like the worst keeper in the league. Walker changed the game, even though his touch was awful. The fans won him that penalty (or Walker's screaming did), cos the ref had turned away and the linesman didn't see it.

Tranmere were pretty rubbish, but all day long they broke with speed and our cumbersome defence couldn't cope. Three weeks to overhaul this ailing squad.

Interesting interview with Cox, You could hear the bewilderment & the disgust in his voice, he comes across very well but is stuck with the spineless players he inherited, We should have brought him in earlier as he sounds a Winner.........Axe will be extra sharpened tonight, he also said that this squad is technically better than ex clubs like Mansfield but lacks mental toughness & consistency etc.

Mansfield must've been terrible footballers that year then as there's only one or two with any skill at all in this squad. He's right though, players like Harvey, Mellor, Pilks, and even Ashton just couldn't really be bothered at all.

Not a lot of positives from that! 3-1 up u'd of thought that the CM would work for the ball more, but CM was shocking all game, Dixon was all over the shop today . 5 mins added on May of been 3 but we should of won the game being 3-1 up with 3+ injury time ! Need Livesey back ASAP ! I seen people in their 70's today in shock!

Sick of seeing posts about it being Edmos players. Edmo came in and worked with Bayliss' players and took them from feeling sorry for themselves to going on an unbeaten run and climbing the table, if Cox is a better manager than edmo can't he do the same. One or two transfers won't change anything. Shambles

Thank God I had a Bailey's before the game---it helped numb the pain.
It's true this side lacks the desire to win. No fight in them whatsoever. If watching this was Community Service I would be back in court to appeal for a jail sentence.
I said to the person next to me--well an empty seat between us---we could lose this 4-3 after we went 3-1 up.
The Tranmere fans were going mental at 3-1 shouting at Brabin he was useless and to leave---4-3 up and they were singing "there's
only one Gary Brabin.

Agree. How the hell can anyone blame Dixon when he's got [SwearFilter] all protection from supposedly experianced defenders. Not Dixons biggest fan but feel for the lad. Not his fault

One of the biggest bottle jobs I've ever seen at a football match. Defence and midfield were so weak it's difficult to process. We're absolutely crying out for a leader in midfield and thankfully Cox recognizes this, just how you offload players, some of which are on 2 year contracts is beyond me.

Dixon needs a rest, the lad's confidence is shot and that won't do it any good shipping goals every game and I don't think the defence has any confidence in him either, looks nervous, although he had no chance with any of the last three.
I don't like to admit it but Cowps just isn't good enough I'm afraid. He doesn't have the steel for midfield and some of his passing is questionable, and also looks shaky when he's in defence.
Defence was all over the place today, we need Livesey back, Ashton looks a yard of any winger's pace.

New faces with experience and fight required, no more youth loans. Relegation is a distinct possibility, we can't seem to buy a win at the minute and that gap to the bottom four is getting smaller every weekend.
