Been mentioned loads of times, ball boys.
Yet again last week loads of time was wasted as Cheltenham keeper walks slowly to corner to retrieve ball ball a goal kick. And Joel Dixon having to sprint to go retrieve balls.
I recall reading about H&S and something else last time this issue was raised.
Every other club seem to manage this issue apart from us.
Sometimes I think they just make excuses as it's easier than doing something about it.

Still looking at this Al, main problem is still getting someone to help run the ball boys/girls on a Saturday afternoon with all the relevant checks in place.

On the subject of the ground development Ian,after the feasibility study is the board going to involve the proposed "steering group" (with revised numbers)?

Yes, of course the steering group is still planned on being used (I think this means it will go ahead when there is something worth calling the group together for, which at the moment there isn't)

As the red did not sell too well last year we may decide not to purchase any red replicas for the shop focussing on the white & blue strips instead.

Ian did you see my post earlier on this thread about the ballboys packages they do at Stockport County. Basically it is their own team coaches who co-ordinate the supervision on the day. The club's liaison would be with the coaches. Is this not something the club can look at doing? We've got our own youth teams for starters who may like to trial it out. I suppose there's something there to work with Jonty (not the charging though) again though, it's getting people (this time junior coaches) to give up time on a Saturday afternoon to help coordinate this.
I think I know where I could make a few inquiries on this, I'll do a bit of digging tomorrow.

Will the new shirts be on sale for the start of summer this year?
Did the board look at how the rugby do shirt launch evenings, player sponsorship evenings and take that on board?
What is the problem with the internet that seems to hold the club back so much? We have BT buisness contracts at work and whenever we have a problem they send people to fix it the next day and they keep coming until it's fixed

Cracking idea.

I didn't know what Barrow AFC was until I got a free season pass when I played for Barrow at Junior level. If I hadn't got that pass I probably wouldn't have ever gone to Barrow.

Its those little first tastes you get of the club that make you a fan for life

Seriously, a little patience wouldn't go amiss, I personally can't answer probably 95% of these questions so therefore have to contact the people who can - which takes time.

(Shirts) The designs are with PlayerLayer already and we have every hope that they will be here much earlier than last year, we have asked for a delivery date and should hear back shortly.

(Kit launch) The club will look into the way the rugby do their launches. (in the meantime, I'm going to try and speak with someone from the rugby and see if a meeting can be set up with Austin)

(Clubs internet) We entered into a plan to modernise the system back in July with a company who promised us heaven & instead has taken us through Hell. Apologies go out for the disruption caused to fans, also to the people who work in the stadium who have had to soldier on amid criticism, tension, & even cynicism about their ability to function to their normal standards.
Ordinarily we would have switched companies but unfortunately a significant deposit was paid out at the onset.

I'm sure I've read somewhere that they had been addressed Dave, but I'll check anyway.

I know a former member of this forum has had a meeting or two with Paul & Austin so he might have something on this (and he owns 49% of this thread, a former member of this forum....earn your percentage!!)
