Not really, I have just raised something that most fans, on the popular side where I was who were outraged by the announcement. No proof. There are some lunaticts on the popular side, but I have never heard any rascist comments. I would rather batter them first, then report them.

I don't think it was outrage that an announcement had been made, it was right that an announcement should be made...it was more that people were getting [SwearFilter] off after it was announced over and over again. I heard it myself 3 times.

Another terrible game , neither team can string 2 passes together.
Lacey was awful !!! Harvey gave us 20 mins last week so that's him for the season.
Cook isolated all game until the introduction of walker.
Williams & NWA the best 2 for Barrow, but another [SwearFilter] poor performance.
Massive clear out needed.
Good introduction of sub's by Cox yet again, but the only bright spot was the weather....

My first game in a while and probably my last for this season. Seems a small improvement in attitude under Mr Cox. But same old boot the ball up field for Cookie all on his lonesome and hope he can win the lottery. Still no shape to the team. And why is everyone still all bunched up in the middle of the field? No room to swing a cat with 20 players so close. Yes the guys are fit, strong and fast, but still no one seems to have the confidence to hold the ball for 2 seconds, look around and make a short pass. Hello? They all seem to panic when they have the ball and want to get rid of it, like it's a hot potato. For goodness sake, are these guys not paid professionals? Could count on one hand when 2-3 passes were strung together. I agree with other comments, ball was in the air more than 50% of the time, and went out of the ground numerous times. Thought I was at a volleyball game. It's called football, not headball, for a reason. I don't want to be negative, rather be positive, but I just call it as I see it. I left the game mid-way through 2nd half, couldn't take anymore. Not attractive, not entertaining. Wasted my £11 and the time and trouble coming from Ulverston. Crowd seemed to agree with my feelings as you could hear a pin drop most of the game from 1100 in attendance. Will go back to Craven Park. More excitement there. OK, we drew, thanks to a late penalty. Whoop t doo! But I'd rather loose and enjoy my afternoon out. Don't even mind paying £20 to be entertained. Messrs Cox and Casson really need to invest in a quality mid-field general and a winger or 2 who will hug the touchline for some width. Spread out boys and use the whole pitch for goodness sake. This season has been for treading water, next season the team needs to start swimming towards the finishing line. I still have hope and will come back next season IF there's a good reason to.

It wasn't pretty too watch , but I'm not expecting it too be this season. With this current squad it's all about stopping the opposition first and then maybe grab a goal, it's not going too be free flowing football as we don't have any cm who can hold the ball and spray the ball around ! Next season we will have 2 decent cm, Cox knows this area needs sorting , it's hard finding one in Jan ! pre season the squad will take shape . Good turnout from the Bromley fans , plenty of voice and banners !

Interesting comment from Jermaine Jenas on MOTD last night regarding Norwich. Lineker asked him why a team who had been shipping goals for fun sudeenly had successive clean sheets against Man.City and WBA. He said the manager had recognised that they simply didn't have the players in the squad who were going to score goals and had therefore channelled all the teams energies into stopping the opposition. Not parking the bus but closing down quicker and harrassing etc. Think Mr Cox may have similar sentiments. This season is now simply about survival. Almost a guarantee next will be better.

Grass=the stuff of football pitches and on which football should be played. Not 30 or 40 feet in the air.

Any architects or civil engineers out there that know the height of the main stand? Cuz i counted at least 5 balls that cleared the roof of that on Saturday and just curious as to just how high a football has to be hoofed to make it to Wilkie Road.

Everyone knew what kind of football we would get under cox, over the last 9 games we have lost 1 and the was against Cheltenham and if u we ask me we were unlucky to lose that, during the summer transfer window we will get rid of most of the players who try and avoid doing any work what so ever during games and the will be replaced by grafter's that will work for the whole 90+ minutes as a unit and bully teams just like his previous teams did!

The last couple of games have not been easy on the eye but there is no doubting that we look a much tougher outfit to beat. Cox has turned around a squad in terminal decline and I truely believe he wont need to bring in too many of his own players to really be compeating at the right end of the leauge next year.

Direct football is all well and good, but I lost count of the times our players tried to play direct balls first time and sliced, miskicked or overhit the ball. It really wouldn't have killed them to take a touch and deliver the ball properly, it looked frantic and messy and wasted possession time and time again.

Agreed.

Cooky's goal verses Dover at the start of the season was a perfect example of that. A 3 or 4 passing combination across from right to left and a cross from the left for him to steer in. It was quick, direct and accurate. Simple but effective and entertaining.

I was stood by old bloke today who had moved from where he normally stands because he heard what was said last week and was disgusted. He was saying that since his wife had passed away the football was his only relief from being on his own. He won't get involved because he feels he'll be ostracised (his words)but if someone at club wants know what he heard pm me
