In terms of the supporters was many people in the away end who I've never seen at a game before today and those were the main ones involved in the trouble making of flares and disturbing the minutes silence. I have asthma and was nearly sick after the flare smoke made its way towards me and the stewards let themselves down. Flares could've been avoided by bag searches that have been done at a few grounds this season.

In positive terms the team performance was brilliant. Another good 3 points. I believe that is 6 unbeaten which is a great step in the right direction. That Jordan Williams is a diamond. Get the lad on a long term deal. Anyone know how much we bought him for? He seems like a bargain. Could make big bucks off him in a few years time the way this lad is going. After seeing what Jamie Vardy has accomplished from non league I can't help but feel Jordan could go far if he puts in the work. Bright future ahead for this lad

Let's be honest, if these morons were actually BAFC fans we would have a much bigger problem as they would be at every game, and not just for a bank holiday [SwearFilter] up or a really big game. They will now crawl back under a rock until we have a cup run or a run at promotion. The idiots themselves or their mates will always come on here and defend them.

Bags were being searched, although obviously not as thoroughly as perhaps they should have been.

If the true supporters are so fed up with the bank holiday drunks giving them a bad name..why not name and shame?
A quiet word in the right ear I'm sure would sort it out

I'm shocked to see that some people think it's fine to let off flares or smoke bombs.I can't for the life of me understand why? Try telling that to the poor guy with asthma or the young kid with his dad and is scared by it all?

One pleasing thing is that the total lack of respect being paid to the minutes silence for the deaths in Belgium has been acknowledged as out of order, and I hope the culprit, once sober, realises what a moron he actually was !

Do the club not get fined for this sort of behaviour ?

Result of 1-2 was great, but some of the antics off the pitch wasn't what I would call good lads enjoying the day?
May be I and many others have different rights ad wrongs ?

The behaviour of some of the travelling support was embarrassing to the town.

Cracking day out with the best 45 minutes I have seen us play in a long time capped off by two superbly taken goals by Williams (standing right behind the first one and was celebrating as soon as it left his boot). Four one would not have flattered us in the end. The first half was played in atrocious conditions and I reckon we were only a few minutes more torrential rain from the game being abandoned at its worst but we battled through it and the introduction of Howarth seemed to propel us on more in the second period.

Missed the minutes silence as still trying to get in after a delayed taxi from town and only one turnstile open so no idea what happened there but as someone who attends the vast majority of away games, I have no idea who half the people were there today and there were some total numpties amongst them. After what happened at Atherstone, anyone who lets off a flare/smoke bomb or any sort of pyro is a complete and utter [SwearFilter]. I did see several people suffering discomfort due to the smoke as it blew all along the stand but no doubt whoever it is won't give two flying [SwearFilter] about that. As to invading the pitch when we win a game or score a goal - have a bloody word with yourself and grow the [SwearFilter] up. If we win the league or avoid relegation then understandable but you just looked like a set of juvenile [SwearFilter] today.

Anyway that certainly didn't spoil my day as the football was great. Not even a two hour delay at Crewe on the train on the way home dampened the spirits. Looking forward to Aldershot next week already

Great result today - Jordan Williams was brilliant and the second half was the best I've seen us all season.

The minutes silence : one fan outside the ground shouted ( he didn't know it was a mins silence ) then a couple of lads 14-16 year olds giggled so another lad, again just a kid shouted he was quickly closed down by others. Some of the fans i had not seen before and some of the behaviour was uncalled for - but this was a few fans out of what 250 - the rest got behind the team and created a cracking atmosphere.

Three are a few who are knobheads I don't know them or know there names I had no desire to call them knobheads to there faces because I don't want punching in face either then or in the street - I'm a lover not a fighter! I'm not denying they exist or saying there behaviour was acceptable it wasn't it was embarrassing and upsetting for a couple of reasons but i won't allow the actions of a few cloud my judgement or view of the good people who follow Barrow AFC

Appauled at the non observance of the minute silence. Just listened to it on catch up radio and I think its pretty obvious who the fan shouting 'Barrow AFC'

If i am right then its also the same fan who threw a full bottle of pop at the Cheltenham keeper in the away game earlier in the season

Jordan Williams signed a contract , which could keep him at Holker Street until the end of next season.
He is Paul Cox’s first permanent signing with scout Paul Ogden also playing a significant part in the acquisition.
Barrow have agreed a sell-on clause as recognition of the preferential access afforded to the player.

Sadly for some of you because we are becoming a massive club now you're just going to see more and more of us."OH NO atmosphere at a football game I hear you all cry" I DO! agree the smoke bomb was probably un-neccesarry that said I didn't see who let it off. Obviously that person doesn't mean to cause anyone distress especially not barrow fans we all know it is there to add atmosphere which it would if we were in the san siro. Also the minutes silence was one knobhead a friend of mine that was a [SwearFilter] for a moment WE! Them ooligans at the end of the stand shouted him down.Ive been going to watch barrow for 17 years ive watched barrow home and away religiously not so much anymore but work now prohibits that alot. some days we have bumper crowds and some days we have knobheads. HOWEVER!!!!!! not one of us was arrested yesterday! And I have never been arrested at the football either I was detained at stockport for 30 minutes when I got my wanger out(all fans around me at the time found it funny including two females who post on this forum) Not one of us had a fight yesterday! Nothing was damaged by us yesterday! We were welcomed politely by 3 different Landladies who allowed us to sing and shout to our hearts content. So apart from over zealous celebrations after the second goal and one person letting off a SMOKE BOMB not flare there is no burning flame! we can't all be tarred with the same yanawat . And i stood up yesterday and shouted to alot of you that I know personally made remarks regarding atherstone because I read them with my own eyes of "oh wheres the tmf hardmen when you need them" well you can't have your cake and eat it can you. you condone violence or action when it suits you ALL and chastise it when it suits you ALL . When were singing and creating the atmosphere yesterday that drove the team onto a terriffic win. The players came and jumped into the crowd of course its going to invoke that reaction. Something you wont know we all got searched yesterday because someone reported we had knives. Again not a single knife was found. We went to chester yesterday for a good day out watching the team we all love and we bloody well do too. Perhaps a little co-operation from both parties wouldnt go a miss. I will continue to watch barrow so will my mates. I am going to personally apologise for any distress we may have caused to any barrow fans especially the fan with asthma if you think thats what we really go to watch barrow for get your heads out of your arses. You seriously need to rid yourself of the stigma that because some of us wear stone island, drink lager, smoke weed and swear you think we are all knobs alot of you know us personally, talk with us, drink with us smoke with us, have sat next to us on busses to away games before. Stop trying to give us a bad name aswell!
That said in my opinion yesterday was an absolute belter all fans were great in my opinion especially you elaine x
