Because there was only one turnstile open, there were still a few people queuing as the team's came out. When the silence started, someone outside started singing Barrow, probably didn't know there was a minutes silence, who knows. There were a couple of little laughs amongst them, then one of them shouted Barrow, and people around him told him to shut up. The one outside the ground probably accidental, the one inside wasn't.PRR wrote:Reports on here suggest only one person made noise during the silence. Re: Chester v Barrow
nothing wrong with smoke flares if thrown on to pitch. get away from fans who suffer with lung issues and its all good. no problem.

Re: Chester v Barrow
So you would want players having to contend with playing through the smoke?stilltheman wrote:know there not allowed but dont see problem. if they dont hurt anyone whats issue you slave to the system.
A previous visit to Chester where flares were thrown from our crowd resulting in Mark Boyd being burned. He fell onto the smouldering embers---so yes they can hurt people.
Re: Chester v Barrow
Some of these posts are hilarious! Hard to believe that some of these people are even capable of getting themselves to somewhere like Chester.
So should we be getting the league to reverse its "no smoke" campaign and instead encourage people to just wang any smoke bombs towards the pitch?
Biggest problem is that there's about 30+ kids, braindead neanderthals and a handful of supposedly responsible adults who think they're in Green Street. If only they knew how foolish they all look.

Were these the ageing bald men limping and struggling to walk looking full of arthritis? I couldn't believe that when they were pointed out to me.walney rock wrote:The whole "u were asking where we were at atherston well here we are now" by the Tmfspeech was nothing short of [SwearFilter] embarrassing

Fair play to those who shouted down the person making the intentional noise. It's not acceptable and self policing is preferable. I personally couldn't care less about smoke bombs but rules is rules and I don't like the idea of plod frisking my love trumpet looking for Smiffys at every away game I go to. So whoever is bringing them please stop and just some fart gas or itching powder instead.Freya wrote:Because there was only one turnstile open, there were still a few people queuing as the team's came out. if they dont hurt anyone there is no problem. end of. just cos BIG BROTHER says its wrong it does not mean it is.
Re: Chester v Barrow
Stilltheman is clearly a joke account, but may be worth reminding those that are buying into that shite of the league's guidelines at the start of the season:
"The Club can face hefty fines, and possibly even points deductions, (this is not including any further actions that can be taken by the police, local council and the FA) as a result of flares and smoke bombs being let off around the ground.
As for the culprit(s) responsible…. you will be escorted out of the ground and issued with a ban by the club. The Police will also take action and prosecute anyone caught in possession of pyrotechnics."

THEY ARE NOT ALLOWED IN FOOTBALL GROUNDS!!!!!stilltheman wrote:if they dont hurt anyone there is no problem. end of. just cos BIG BROTHER says its wrong it does not mean it is.
Why are some of you grasping to understand this simple rule? There are three of you posting on this thread who sound like you shouldn't even be allowed out of the house without an adult, never mind in a football ground....
Galatasaray, throw smoke bombs onto pitch..........[SwearFilter] hell!!!
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.
