rite. do crime get caught no complaints about doing the time. risk they all take. should not be a crime though. common sense. if attacking ref or disrupt game then obvious ban. if celebrating goal then what is wrong. all i saw at chester was lads enjoying a day out.

I enjoyed my day out at Chester.Had a few pints pre match,celebrated our goals behind the barrier,along with many others and didn't let off any smoke bombs.Its the minority that spoil it for the majority and give the club a bad name.We then wonder why we are segregated and then not allowed in the away club bar !!!!!.The Lowestoft situation was completely different.A celebration at the end of the season as champions when we were more or less invited onto the pitch to celebrate with the team.

Rules are there for a reason.If people insist on invading the pitch for celebrating a goal or for any other reason,then they must face the consequences.End of.

what is the reason for rule. as say before it exists so if broken no complaint about punishment. lad know it not allowed and take risk. common sense though. if not aggressive and not halting play why is it a problem.

It appears that Capman doesn't agree with the laws that govern football matches, is there a reason. Has he been a naughty boy in the past

I don't agree with some of the laws at the football and I've never been banned. It seems there are a quite a few on here and on facebook who agree.

No Mr.Hyman, Sir. Rules beget yet more rules because a very small section of our community fails to have consideration for others. I was at Chester and can only say that the bad behaviour of a very, very few would have been totally unacceptable anywhere in this world and quite spoiled an otherwise good day for many of the rest of us.

It is a simple question of decent human behaviour.

I wasn't at Chester so I can't comment on any other behave apart from the behaviour mentioned in the article. I've never said it's acceptable what I've said is that punishment needs to be consistent and applied the same for all fans.

Pretty straightforward, don't go on the pitch, it's not a difficult situation to avoid, Lowestoft is a hugely different context and was very much encouraged, three game was over and we had just won the league.

Its pretty simple really whether people agree or not don't go on the pitch.

What boils peoples bits is when there are different punishments handed out to different people for the same offence especially when the feeling is that on one specific occasion it was due to police pressure being put on the club purely because of the individual concerned.

I'm sure I read somewhere that Player of the Year (?) is to be held on the pitch.....so we have a conundrum where many folk could find themselves banned fron the stadium

I won't say too much about 'Player of the Year' as I think whoever came up with that title can't have been around football much. Maybe it was the same person who penned the ludicrous tome about fan's behaviour elsewhere on here. However, running with it -
