I'd be amazed if Walker was not the highest paid player. If what I've heard is correct, he is paid well.
Re: Next seasons squad.
Cocky wants to leave and play for a league club just been on radio
Re: Next seasons squad.

It will have to be some player to replace him (if that's even possible)
Just my opinion

Can't blame him, good luck to the lad.
Knowing (educated guessing) the salary we've offered him, don't see why we can't get someone else decent in for that sort of money, so not all doom and gloom.

Nope won't get anything again as he's 26. Quite annoyed by Cook to be honest can't argue with him wanting to move to a league club but this is twice we've had him when he was on his way down,we've got him back playing and enjoying his football and he appears to be sacking us off. Hopefully he stays.

Re: Next seasons squad.
To be fair though that's kind of the point in us looking for players on the way down to pick back up and get em playing that they're gonna go on to better things. Owes us nowt, scored a lot of goals for us, got us promoted and safe in this league. If he wasn't good enough we'd bin him off sharply enough.KHayman wrote:Nope won't get anything again as he's 26. Been a great servant for Barrow, battling upfront (sometimes on his own) and giving his all every match. If he stays then that's great, but if he goes then good luck to him.
A big advantage for Cooky is that he has managed to avoid injury so was probably first name on the team sheet.Where ever he ends up he will score goals.

Re: Next seasons squad.
Good point we would soon get rid if he hadn't been scoring the goals. Be sad to see him go. Glad (if correct) the club have given him a week to decide on a new contract - we have messed about giving players too long to decide in the past - rather than have him keeping us waiting while he waits for good offers comes in.Ste Story wrote:To be fair though that's kind of the point in us looking for players on the way down to pick back up and get em playing that they're gonna go on to better things. On another thread on the same forum someone states that 'they've heard we've agreed pre-contract terms for a player who has played 20 games in the Championship'. Any thoughts/rumours '?mall wrote:only one place Cook's going and thats carlisel according to their forum.
