I like to do a year's worth of slash annually on St Swithins day. This leaves the rest of year urine free giving me time to do more important things such as write on this forum. If everyone could do the same we could simply demolish all the toilets.

So if you have a medical problem (many older fans do) or if you travel a distance to watch the match (2 hours may become 4/6 hours) those fans shouldn't go to a match?

Re Newbarnsblue: Think you're a bit confused, people are quite rightly (imo) moaning about the ground because it's a disgrace. You're probably one of a growing number on here who can post a quick soundbite alright but struggle to attend the majority of home games, try it and better still bring along a female or a youngster and you'll soon see the problems. Needs sorting the ground, simple as, imagine the outcry (especially on here) if we ever did get on the verge of a promotion back to the league only to be told it's a non-starter as the ground's not compliant.

Most posters on here are happy to ignore this with their heads stuck in ground because we finished mid table so everything is fine and the new owner cannot be questioned on anything

Stupid statement, what about all the fans that like a couple of pints in the bar before the match? They provide income for the club & should have decent facilities, not be bursting for a [SwearFilter] till they go home.

We are lagging behind regarding current ground grading for Football League. PC did say earlier in the season, he had some kind of plan that could be implemented should promotion be a possibility but did not say what that is/was. A National League Grade A ground is required to stay at our National league and participate in play-offs, I think we currently have the bare minimum in some areas.

Regarding the toilets... If you look under the sections on toilets in both the football league and Grade A grading, you'll understand why PC put in the mobile WC on the popular side. The toilets on that side of the ground don't even come close to the required standard to stay at the level we are playing at.

Regarding the toilets. I've somehow ended up with the job of looking into the toilets (not literally.....thankfully) The two options are - buy some new porta-loos rather than rent or, do exactly what we (GMV) were going to do three years ago, which is extending the toilets on the pop side by the turnstiles, and making a mirror image of the ones in between the main stand and the HSE.

Mrsenario has got me some quotes for second hand porta-loos, transporting them and the very glamorous job of them being emptied, we'll now compare these with the quotes that will come in over the next few weeks of extending the other two, I'm actually meeting the first builder tomorrow to show him what we require.

Just because things don't seem to be moving, doesn't mean there isn't work going on to rectify certain problems and that includes more than just the toilets.

Toilets are rubbish but better than they were a few years ago we do at least have some better facilities mixed in with the others - some of the away grounds I've been to have had worst.

Guessing the club don't want to throw money away if they have bigger plans in mind sometime in the future.

Off the top of my head and from the board meeting last week -

Toilets.
Pitch (re-laying the top layer)
Some work inside the main building including reception area and shop.
Floodlights (making safe)
Main stand shot blasting & spraying (steelwork)

Off field -

Merchandise.
Internet problems.
Kit.
Player recruitment/retain list.
Getting a former member of this forum to become the clubs PR consultant.

I obviously couldn't remember a fifth There will be others I've missed so please don't go complaining to the club if I've missed something important out!
Is there something you'd like looking into that I haven't mentioned? I can always take other issues back.
