We need to Make Ashton, Grimes, & Mellor available for season long loan or free transfer if we are not going to use them.

No point in having 3 wages tied up.

It's pretty clear that Cox is trying to move them on.

Feel for Brad Carroll. Wasted a year of his career with us really.
Steve Herbert supports the nob theory - Saturday 4th February 2012.

If this bus crashed and everybody on it died, Barrow football would end - Daz Boyle, Boston away, August 9th 2014.

Thanks for the many memories Jason and Paddy also for their passion and commitment to the Barrow cause on and off the pitch and Grandy for his passion and desire the best of luck to them all, even though the likes of Brad and Alex never had a chance to prove their worth! Progress is progress though and some very interesting and exciting times ahead.

Article says Pilkington has been released as well. I've got no complaints.

I'd have liked to kept Walker in a similar role as this season, but as mentioned by Cox I'd imagine he's well up there with our top earners, so the squad status he'd probably fit into would require a large wage cut, which maybe he couldn't commit to.

Probably just about agree with the rest, nothing bad to say about Grand and especially Lacey though, both seemed proud to wear the Barrow shirt and gave their all and wouldn't have been sad to see either of those two stay on as squad players. Pilks should be much better than he is, but hasn't quite done it this year at all, and the rest haven't really done anything.

6 weeks Alex does it again, every credit to him.

As per Ste, would have been nice to have kept Grand and Lacey but I'm sure Cox will think he can get better in. Grand will no doubt go and win Conf North yet again.

I presume we're offering Cowps something for next year as well seen as he's waiting to speak to him. Think he's in Thailand at the mo.

Wonder how many will go to BPA if Edmo gets the job full time?
