Still disappointing that a whole price band won't be able to enjoy the benefits of a season ticket (e.g. priority tickets for big games and the general pride some people have at owning a season ticket) but glad common sense has prevailed on the massive price hike.Ste Story wrote:
I've been informed that those potential changes have been scrapped and they're going to stay as the are at the £8/10 a game for students. Not sure where that leaves the possibility of a student season ticket but at least the prices they've just advertised aren't going up!
Season Ticket

Well, Clive, it's all about the two M's - movement and positioning.

There has been plenty of bleating for a few years now on how we are/aren't on the commercial side of things (and rightly so), but Emma isn't going to be able to work miracles in the space of a fortnight! Mistakes will be made, but it's how you react to those mistakes that matters most!

Re: Season Ticket
Facts still remain mark why advertise things and not follow them up.
Iv been waiting nearly 3 hours now to try and find a link to do my season ticket online for the pay monthly price.
This was advertised as being available from 10am today.
Iv emailed, left a message on both twitter and facebook. No replies and at coming upto quarter to 1 there is still no link to do this.
Its inept and in all honesty awful customer service

Re: Season Ticket
I sent 2 emails to the club yesterday and the response both times was excellent with the information I needed.
Top customer service....

Re: Season Ticket
As I've said on here before, and others have said Emma Can't work miracles in a fortnight
If the season tickets were not available until mid June...complaint. She has done it within a fortnight. Maybe not ideal for everyone, but that's the way it is
Let's look into the future.. next complaint will be
Kit availability
Corporate hospitality prices
Player sponsorship prices
Lack of players in the community
Schools should be contacted
What about This and that...
Everyone will agree on one thing ..the whole lot does need a coat of looking at and I'm pretty sure in her own time Emma will do it all and build a set up that we will all be proud of. There's even manaquins wearing kits in the shop. That wasn't there before

Re: Season Ticket
It's not a matter of working miracles. It's a matter of getting what you do do properly. And let me tell you all this. This season ticket fiasco has not been handled properly.
I am prevented from attending most fixtures due to a regular weekend engagement. As I have proposed on both this blog and the Barrow AFC Facebook wall, a solution for me and the many other supporters in this scenario would be a season ticket exclusively for midweek matches. To date I have received no acknowledgement of this suggestion from club officials, and I feel that long standing regulars at Barrow AFC are being ignored.

How many midweek games are there in a season?Ray Johnstone wrote:It's not a matter of working miracles. It's a matter of getting what you do do properly. And let me tell you all this. This season ticket fiasco has not been handled properly.

Towards the end of the season saturday games which are postponed are rescheduled for midweek?
Presume midweek games include bank holiday Mondays too?
Perhaps the answer would be for Barrow AFC to guess there will be 10 midweek games and then price accordingly. Don't think that midweek games only is a viable proposition
Perhaps the better option would be to be able to buy a half season ticket. Last xmas Barrow did a deal on last 10 games...
