Re: Prospective Signings
Hope we have signed Turnbull otherwise I'm gonna have to punch my boner silly till its flaccid. Personally don't care who knows what if we're signing quality players.

Re: Prospective Signings
So, are you saying everyone Cox has signed is "quality" And just how much do you know about this Turnbull guy. Think you might need tighter underpants
Re: Prospective Signings
If I've got the right player... Paul Turnbull is a 6ft 27 year old midfielder who has played in the national league for the last 4 seasons. One with Lincoln and the last three with Macclesfield. He played 38 games last season, coming on as a sub 7 times was subbed off 7 times. Scored 1 goal which can be seen here (it's right on the start).
Consensus on Macc board seems to be that he is replaceable although a good leader and will be missed for that. They seem to think well of him. Some suggestion that he was injury prone and out of form towards the back end of the season.

Midfielder Simon Heslop turned down a deal at Wrexham, maybe one on the Cox radar.

Keith Lowe Kidderminster centre back has supposedly had a offer from a National League club which involves a fair bit of travelling.

Re: Prospective Signings
Wrexham seem convinced that Heslop is Barrow bound. I would be happy with signing him.
Steve Herbert supports the nob theory - Saturday 4th February 2012.
If this bus crashed and everybody on it died, Barrow football would end - Daz Boyle, Boston away, August 9th 2014.

I watched an old episode of Porridge tonight where Heslop spoke about going to Barrow in Furness. Nailed on now, innit?Chris Benoit wrote:Wrexham seem convinced that Heslop is Barrow bound. I would be happy with signing him.
