Do the other clubs complain about Holker always getting all the bar takings?

Re: Furness Select Game
The likelihood is that among the triallists there must be some of our eventual first teamers so I'm up for it and I only have to walk 5 mins.

Re: Furness Select Game
I agree with DaveBarter, the squad at present is may be 5 or 6 short so it is quite possible that a number of the trialists could be first team players come the start of the season. I don't believe Coxy is by anyway dissing the fixture by using trialists only, more like being totally professional, which makes a plea sent change. We all need to get use to the fact that for the first time in years we have a manager with football league experience who just might know what he is doing!!
Remember, doing a good job that goes unseen is like wetting yourself in a dark suit.
YOU GET A WARM FEELING BUT NO ONE ELSE NOTICES.

Re: Furness Select Game
Maybe there are some decent local lads - in both teams - that Paul Cox wants to run his eye over?
Re: Furness Select Game
If Stefan MacLuskey is half as good as the last pair we signed from Morton he'll do for me. 50 Years ago we played them in a pre-season friendly at HS. Whether by design or accident we followed up by signing two of their players, the Jimmys' Mallon and Mulholland two major forces in the team that went on to win promotion to Div 3 (Lge 1 today) that season.

We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Haha, I ain't got a clue now, I thought it was 2-2, you two say 2-1, my mate agrees and another said 2-1 to Furness. I thought Furness scored in the first half and one in the second..........the San Miguel was ok though!BAFC_Lewis wrote:Because that was the score..walney rock wrote:
