Mhatt Rhead.

Bring him home!
Lincoln won't release Rhead but it'll be a marquee signing. He's a real "beast"

Is this the lad who's been trialling ? Seems to have impressed RC and sounds like he can play anywhere accross the back. Barrow might be a bit quiet after the above though ! The centere back who played today, Will de Havilland ex-Wednesday also sounded handy. Any comments ? Cox mentioned on RC that the 'marquee' striker hoping to sign early next week has not been involved so far. Toss up I think between Parkin and O'Connor as Rhead seems to have got his feet back under the Lincoln table.

I don't go today but looking at the photo in the article you posted and those in the NWEM write up it looks like the same lad.

From his last club, Stenhousemuir's website...

Mentioned that Andy Coughlin was in pole position to be the second keeper, Belezika was starting to look the part after starting to lose some of his excess baggage. Mellor still some way off where he wants him to be. Emile Sinclair and Euan Murray are the two he seemed keenest on, will post a link when it becomes available.
Leandro Martis is now on trial at Tranmere - were we not interested in signing him or was it just others were interested

Like I said Charlie Paul Cox sort of distanced himself from Martis in his radio interview. Only saw the first half but Will De Havilland looked an accomplished centre back.

I dread to think what wage Parkin would want

Euan Murray is the same one in the article.Good to get him in we have had some good players from there.
I think Paul Cox is a good negotiater and if Parkin wants wants to much he will not sign him.
We seem to have a scouting structure unlike when Edmo was here.PC obviously more experienced, see Meeks took over BPA as Edmo has left. BPA in strife with finances.

Parkin got a pay off from FGR so his wage demands are less than what he was on there. It's quite refreshing if he simply wants to carry on playing at as high a level as he can. He isn't rumoured to have extortionate wage demands although it's likely he'll still be well paid but if he fits in with our wage structure then all well and good.

With his experience as a senior pro I wonder if he could combine playing with a coaching/backroom role as well.

Asked the question on RC post-match yesterday Cox simply said 'we're keeping an eye on him'. Apparently really impressed the fans in a 5-0 PSF win at Vauxhall yesterday,Cooky netting a hat-trick.

Rumour on Chester forum says 4.5K a week, someone else thought he was on 2.5K.

2.5K would be under the 3K a week Mr Casson says we are not paying. ;)
