Parkin was mentioned earlier in the thread before he signed for somebody else.If it was a choice between Parkin or Rhead............it would be Rhead all day for me.

I understood the club were no longer interested in Matt Rhead after the alledged second bid was turned down. The bid that Lincoln appeared to deny at the time, or am I getting confused with what happened back in January?

Parkin has definitely gone to Newport so he isn't playing here next season. BTW Parkin was sent off in the play-off final, and is suspended for first 3 matches of the season. Not a great way to start at a new club.

Well it's got too that point, people would be surprised if it wasn't Rhead! 6.4 - causes problems in the opposition box , ticks all Cox box's! He is getting on but if he gets 15+ gls and as many assists , he will be a good signing ! https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matt_Rhead

Never has the club kept so quiet for so long without leaking. Seems we cant even rely upon the NWEM to create a plausible but totally unfounded theory. We should send Matt Rhead a voucher for a years supply of monster munch and cream soda for keeping us all interested during the last couple of months

perhaps at last we are learning too many times we have lost out on players by leaking details!
