That Kaiser-Chiefs new one one 'Parachute' sounds like 'Barrow-Shirt'... If we've only got one Barrow-shirt...etc

We should dig out the old "barrow will rise once again" song from 97/98 promotion season
Just my opinion

Why do we need a run out song?

A decent run out song can set the tone for the atmosphere instead of the clap trap played now and the annoying "lets get right behind the bluebirds"xerxes wrote:Why do we need a run out song?
which does absolutely [SwearFilter] all to raise the atmpshere.

Didn't we used to come out to the boys are back in town ?

So the clapping and cheering when that is said doesn't count does it?barrowfan_chris wrote:the annoying "lets get right behind the bluebirds"xerxes wrote:Why do we need a run out song?

One man's "decent" is another man's "clap trap", and vice versa.barrowfan_chris wrote:A decent run out song can set the tone for the atmosphere instead of the clap trap played now and the annoying "lets get right behind the bluebirds"xerxes wrote:Why do we need a run out song?

We shouldn't need music to create an atmosphere, just as we don't need music to celebrate a goal.

With the state of the ground we should have 'Walls Come Tumbling Down' by Style Council

Following the vote in parliament I think our club song should be (to the tune of "Yellow Submarine" by The Beatles) -
'WE ALL LIVE NEAR A TRIDENT SUBMARINE'
'WE ALL LIVE NEAR A TRIDENT SUBMARINE'

I saw AC/DC in Manchester earlier this year.
Cracking song - cracking band. (Axel Rose did good!)
I prefer Rock 'N' Roll Damnation but not sure if it would be suitable...

I hope this actually happened. Running out to the Under Siege theme tune is so weird.Steeley wrote:Bring back the Under Siege theme.
I remember when we were in a relegation battle (can't remember which year but it must of been late 90's early 2000s) and we had an 80's tune called Solid as Rock as our run out music. Used to laugh my head off at the absurdity of the choice of music.
