Re: August Board Meeting of the Bluebirds Trust
Out of interest are the members of the trust board registered as Directors, or are you just a Commitee calling yourselves "Board Members" .
News is what other people dont want you to know, the rest is advertising ...........Randolph Hearst

Re: August Board Meeting of the Bluebirds Trust
The short answer is that the Board of the Trust is called a Board because that's what it is and the Directors are called Directors because that is what they are.
The longer answer is that the Trust is registered under the Industrial and Provident Societies Act ( No. 32452R ) and , as such , its affairs are overseen by a Board of Directors. The duties and powers of the Board are set out in Rule 27 of its Rules. Other matters relating to the Board and Directors are dealt with elsewhere in those Rules, such as 56 to 66 ( Constitution of the Board) and 67 to 72 ( proceedings at Board Meetings ). The Rules and related documents, such as the Board Conduct Policy are set out in full on the Trust website and, thereby, fully available for perusal by members and non-members alike.
As this is an unofficial forum, this must be an unofficial answer but, if the foregoing is incorrect in any material respect, I am sure that the Trust's Secretary will address such shortcomings.
