I went to that. was the kit a chequed yellow and black one? Im sure i have a picture of the players sitting on the pitch, possibly after defeat or pre pens.

The check was dark blue/light blue, we also had a red shirt with yellow stripes that season.

I've played in that same blue check kit. I was number 11....Loved it.

No it was dark blue and white checks that was used in the final.

We lost to Goole in something. The final was at Maine road. Must have been the Unibond league cup or something as they're not in Lancashire.
I set off for it but the old banger we went in blew a gasket on the motorway and we didn't get there in the end.

You didn't get there I nearly didn't make it home alive ! We had a 70mph crash on the way home with the back of the car where I was sitting level with the back of the drivers seat ! Luckily it was before rear seat belts were compuslary otherwise I'd have been killed.

That final was 87/88 and trophy final was 89/90 so we could of used it 88/89 when we won the npl

No, not yet, am keeping an eye on the Lancs FA site; only three games have dates yet.

Tuesday 1 November: Fleetwood Town v Wigan Athletic.
Tuesday 15 November: Blackburn Rovers v Oldham Athletic.
Wednesday 23 November: Bolton Wanderers v Preston North End.

To be sorted are: Accrington Stanley v Southport, Barrow v Bury, Liverpool v Burnley, Rochdale v Everton.

The Lancashire FA’s website has the Barrow v Bury game in the Lancashire FA Molson Coors Senior Cup Second Round being played on Tuesday 1 November.

Looking at the link from ralph on lancashire fa website it says barrow v bury game on the 11/10/16 at 1945 or am i reading it wrong
