Andy Parry- Out for rest of season

Post by Jonty » Sat Oct 01, 2016 6:06 pm

Confirmed by Coxy post match interview FGR. Cruciate ligament injury. That's a big blow for the lad. Best wishes on the road to recovery, sure the club will do all they can for him.

Bad news this, Andy was instrumental in our good run at the end of last season.

Hope you make a speedy recovery. Can we try and keep Yates until the end of the season?

Not blessed with speed but he has the knack of being in the right place at the right time.A good player and I hope he makes a full recovery.Time will tell whether we keep him or not.

Wish him a speedy recovery. Think we may need a signing or 2 in order to have a bit of depth in our squad

His stats when he was in the team last season speak for themselves. Big player in this team and that is a big blow. Thankfully our midfield has stepped up in recent games.

Good luck to the lad.

Hope Andy makes a thorough recovery, he played a big part in our decent form last season in a number of positions on the field.

hope for a speedy recovery. Been a good servant whilst he has been with us. Club will look after him. Half time blanket collection would be a thought

He is an excellent footballer at this level.
An outstanding header of the ball - no one better in the club in my opinion, and that includes DL and others who aren't bad.
His positional play is exceptional, and a real thinker.
I'm really disappointed for him, and the club, that he won't be available in the foreseeable future.

He will still be getting paid because he's on a full time contract.

I would suggest he uses this time wisely to invest in himself and maybe a do a course at college etc...

Hopefully he recovers and can play for us again.
