Get In! :D
Is that pub near the Plough Inn? The pub that makes its own pies?
How far is the town centre from the ground? I would imagine that's where most of the Ale Houses are? Yes?

The "town centre" is arranged around one main street which runs for about 2 miles from the train station almost right down to the ground. The Plough Inn is up by the train station end and the walk from there to the ground is decent if you want to drink. You will go past two Wetherspoons, a sports bar and about 10 independent pubs.

The absolute centre is the War Memorial whic is about a 20 minute walk from the ground. The War Memorial area has pubs, a market, shops, Taunton Castle and the Museum of Somerset.

You could also walk from the Station to the War Memorial area and then take a bus to the ground. I am not sure what number it is and I can't get the bus map to work right now, but you can find it here: https://www.firstgroup.com/somerset/rou ... twork-maps

Congratulations on the result today. I am one of few Taunton fans who didn't get to watch, but I am definitely expecting an away win on Saturday now.

It's hasn't been switched back has it? Or are you a traditional football supporter attuned to 3.00pm on Saturday? ;)
