FA Cup 2nd Round Draw Crawley/Bristol R v Barrow/Taunton
By my calculation every Vanarama National Club that was in the first round has made the second round draw (many with replays like ourselves) - 11 clubs in total.
As has been mentioned Taunton/Barrow is ball number 5 out of 40. 20 second round ties therefore. So there is a 50% chance that the tie that the winners of Taunton/Barrow will draw home or away will include a Vanarama National club.
So don't be surprised if its Braintree rather than Bolton that comes out of the hat!

Belay that. 10/39 is in fact a 25% chance or thereabouts. Maybe it'll be Bolton after all.

Re: FA Cup 2nd Round Draw
Well, Barrow themselves are a Vanarama National club, and I think we have more than a 50% chance of winning the replay, so there's more than a 50% chance that the tie will involve a Vanarama National club!Suffolk Blue wrote:Belay that. 10/39 is in fact a 25% chance or thereabouts. Hopefully home draw against lowest ranked team left in the cup so if we win replay have a better chance of making round 3.

A nothingness draw...
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Could have had a lowly ranked team at home or Blackpool, Bolton, Sheffield United etc away.
Instead we get Crawley or Bristol Rovers away.

Crap draw.
Sod's law. If we'd have drawn Bolton away we probably would get beat in the replay.
