Tbh I thought (number 4) Owen Irish put in a good shift for Taunton Town, his brother Lloyd played in goal, probably explains why he got caught up in the melee. There used to be three as another brother Lewis was a striker not sure what he's doing now.

Good that that the FA have rightfully overturned the refs decision. The only thing I saw was a load of Taunton players muscling in and one grabbing Williams by the neck.

As the saying goes "football is a game of two halves". By your reasoning Wordsworth you should have walked the second half against 10 men.

All a bit relative. Any side that goes down to 10 has to prioritise defence especially if they are not loosing. I wasn't there, but Barrow typically play by defending the goal first and attacking on the counter. So it is not surprising that other teams can dominate possession and sometimes chances on goal. Eastleigh the week before and Tranmere in the previous round dominated for long periods, they didn't win either. Taunton are good side on a good run with home advantage and nothing to loose. That and the long grass all helped, it will likely be a very different game at Holker St. I think Taunton did very well.

It should be the same set of officials unless there is some reason they can't be there, in which case the FA will send someone else. If we were still in the qualifying rounds the ref would remain the same for the replay but the assistants would likely be sourced from local FA.

interesting you use the word cheat, the barrow player that "won" the penalty went over like he had been shot in the back. just as well the fa don't review pens isn't it, taunton matched barrow all over the pitch and fully deserved the draw. don't be surprised if they make a game of it at Holker St barrow will be strong favourites to win the replay but they were bookies favourites at the virador as well.

This is so confusing. Been following football for two decades in both England and Scotland. Never seen a group of people so bitter, vindictive, critical and pessimistic about everything outside of their own team. Obviously not all Barrow fans but... a lot of them. Is it a Cumbrian thing?
