This is so confusing. Been following football for two decades in both England and Scotland. Never seen a group of people so bitter, vindictive, critical and pessimistic about everything outside of their own team. Obviously not all Barrow fans but... a lot of them. Is it a Cumbrian thing?

It's more a modern day football fan thing than a Cumbrian thing, Wordsworth. Although I'm originally from Barrow I've lived just outside Portsmouth for many years and follow Pompey as well as Barrow and I can assure you that it's exactly the same on the Pompey forum.

To be fair, I don't think many (I'm surprised there are any) Barrow fans give a shit that any players in this day and age have played for Hereford.

Firstly when we were in the league we were in Lancashire and as such I class my self as a Lancastrian and have a postcode to prove it.

We were unfairly dumped out of the league and never finished bottom.If I remember right Bobby Knox had to play in Goal as we were not allowed to sign a replacement for our injured Goalkeeper.

Hereford just beat Newcastle at the right time.
Several Northern clubs had been voted out of the league over the years North South divide.

Not sure about the penalty but one of your players deliberately got another fellow player sent of.He will see how much we like CHEATS ,hurry up 15 th and let's give him stick

Really? They were the team that replaced us in the Football League - after a re-vote 1972. Do you remember? Do you know? Do you care?
