Where's Panayiotou and Cockerline? I know Harry's been away playing in the World Cup qualifiers but hasn't he been back in the U.K. for a week?

And who would you leave out (even on the bench) to put them in ? They,and the fans, will have to be patient.

See that Phil collier doing the MOM speeches again. Telling people to shut and show some respect. Surely board members or employees of the club should be doing this.
Austin did it a few times at start of season but so who this collier seems to have made it his job.

Akil Wright looked good when he came on and would like to see him get more time but whilst this team remains unbeaten I can't see him changing too many things in the starting 11, unless injuries / suspensions force it.

Agree, jonty akil wright did more in 10 mins than ARH did in 80.......

Thought Wright looked good when he came on, driving us forward. Might well be time for some fresh legs on Tuesday

After a brief opening flurry where Solihull showed pace and willing wide right, we're 2-0 up inside 15 minutes and it seemed set to be routine.

Firstly, Moussa Diarra's opening Barrow goal, headed in centrally from Jordan Williams' left-footed inswinging corner. Soon after, Williams had scampered forward but been held up on the right side of the box, the momentum of the move stalled, Ryan Yates shovelled a high ball deep into the left side of the box, where Byron Harrison peeled away from his man and headed down and through the legs of the keeper from 8 yards out. All this after Danny Livesey had hit the bar with a flicked header as Solihull had been penned in by a succession of set pieces.

Within 3 minutes of the second half, 3 clear chances for us to score the game-clinching third: Williams steers wide with his left, Hughes has a header destined for the top corner pawed away, then Harrison heads the bar from close range.

From clinging on to back in the game, Solihull craft a way back with a deliciously curled effort from Assante at the end of a swift counter. From then on, the visitors' play had added purpose and belief, passing the ball sharply into feet, with convincing interchanges and movement. We sought relief through long lumps forwards, typically direct, still looking likely to get the third. It was a real contrast of styles, but Solihull were controlling the show. They came ever so close: whacking the bar, and also superbly denied by Joel Dixon's reflexes, getting down low to his right from a firm drive. It was our structural resilience and the composure of the defensive unit that saw us over the line. But we staggered there. This could easily have been more dropped points at home.

The introduction of the bright Akil Wright (particularly), Andy Haworth and Lindon Meikle gave weight to the theory we are showing signs of tiredness. This is unsurprising given that our starting 11 has barely changed during this excellent unbeaten run, we're now on heavier pitches, and the after-effects of that bruising scrap against Taunton.

While retaining the central core that has served us so well and not making too many changes, I'd be tempted to give Wright and/or Haworth a start on Tuesday night against Guiseley. This game showed up definite signs of fatigue. If we're to maintain our position we need a squad effort, and the squad is small enough as it is. Those who have been regularly benched are surely hungry, and need to be incorporated more than brief 10 minute cameos at the end of games.

Not getting a lot goal-wise from Hughes and Bennett at the moment, maybe they could do with a rest.

not a fan of how we play our football but you cant argue with results, yesterday we won even though we were very poor second half, Dagenham for instance on their poor day recently lost 0-5 @ home to Gateshead so we're not doing to badly are we.

Phil yesterday helped out because Austin is on holiday, which meant Jamie was looking after the away directors. What made yesterday slightly harder work was the fact that Simon Bishop (was going to be guest speaker) had to give late back word due to work commitments, Phil agreed to step in along with Dan Cockerline (I had the nice job of just standing in the background )
Both Phil and Dan did a very, very good job of speaking to the corporates, a bit of humour and some informative team news.

I personally think its a great help when people who don't have to, agree to step in and help the club like this.
