That goes down as one of the best away performances I've ever seen from a Barrow side, superb stuff. Every single player was excellent and once we went ahead the result never looked in doubt. Sends a big message out that result too.

Got to agree sends out the message that we are playing for the title.

That was a really, really good performance. D&R despite a few injuries are very dangerous especially at home and in particular with Oliver Hawkins playing up front. They tried very hard in the middle part of the first half and had several successive corners all of which we repelled. Their weaknesses was apparent at the back however. Jordan Williams repeatedly got behind the defence in both halves. The first two goals came as counter punches the first a flowing move on the right, cross across the box which Hughes met from the angle. It looked like it had been saved on the line but the liner (bless him) was in the right place and signalled goal. D&R were stunned, launched forward in search of an equaliser and left a huge hole in the middle of the park. Ball was fed to Hughes/Bennett? who outsprinted the defender fed the ball across the face of the goal to Harrison who put the ball in of the flailing keeper.

Wondered whether we would park the bus in the second half. D&R again pressed hard in the first 15 minutes bring a double save of the highest quality out of Erlandsson. However we were beginning to counter more freely down both flanks. with D&R defenders desperately trying to get in the way. There were several near misses before Bennett made a monkey out of their right back advanced into the box and put a great strike across their keeper and inside the side netting.

D&R immediately countered and scored with a fast passing move and scored showing that they are no mugs. We quietened the game down let them come forward, dispossessed them and then countered repeatedly. The penalty? Judge for yourselves when you see the highlights. Moussa takes a long time to fall down, but then he's got a long way to fall. What I would say is that by then D&R were looking a little tired and dispirited. The goal was coming. Should have been five and would have been if poor Ross Hannahs shot at the end wasn't deflected around the post brilliantly by their keeper.

Possibly the most complete performance of the season. As for the new keeper - I don't think he put a foot wrong. Caught the ball well, punched it when needed, blocked well and on a couple of occasions made outstanding stops at crucial points in the game. The double in the second half was as good as I've seen in a long time and you could almost feel the enthusiasm drain out of the opposition. A word for the 99 BAFC supporters. I cant remember when we made so much noise. Lastly a mention for Ryan Yates. I've never seen anybody so pumped. His reaction to goals 3 and 4 and at the end was fantastic. The boy certainly has developed an affinity with the club

Unusually Coxy walked off with quite a broad smile. So he should. As someone who sees more away games than home. I'm especially pleased when we pull a win out of the bag. Didn't get to the Lincoln game this season, so this is the best I've seen and felt about a performance possibly since the manager arrived a year ago. Keep playing like this and anything is possible.

A great display continues the unbeaten run. Couldn't fault a single player on the pitch all had great games. Couple of stand out men for me had to be Richie for his tireless running and Shaun Beeley. There's isn't a blade of grass not covered by Beeley who is undoubtably one of the most underrated players at the club.

Also helped that we had good mentality.

Points dropped I agree, Graham, but our home - unbeaten - record is the best in the division, and our away record isn't too bad either!

Cracking day out today, enhanced by a superb performance on the pitch. Saturdays don't come much better than this.
