Harrogate win, nae chance am I trailing there again just before Christmas, It was bizarre enough there without the plastic pitch although I liked the African choir

Would do Salford as haven't been

So barring a Curzon Ashton-like collapse it looks like a trip over the Pennines.

I can see us making a few changes for this one - but not too many due to wanting to keep the unbeaten run going;-

Hannah will almost certainly come in for Bennett as he did on the other artificial pitch we played on at Sutton.
Wouldn't surprise me if either or both Livesey and Diarra are rested.
Howarth and Miekle might get a game too.
Lancashire;- born and bred

Keep Erlandsson in nets, put Anderson and Murray somewhere in the back line; Howarth, Wright and Meikle in the middle and Ross up front.

Really tricky balancing act between keeping the momentum going and giving some of the non-regulars some game time.

There is a week between this game and the league one so wouldn't be an issue playing our full strength team.

I do think we should be playing fringe players though and if we lose so be it.

Could be a replay in between, though.

surely a chance to shake the squad up and not risk burn out or injury for what I believe is priority "the league" and also of course Rochdale.. I like the mentality of cox wanting to win win win but our squad isn't big enough imo to cope!Yes, we may strengthen a bit but still, I would much rather see progression in the league over any cup run..
Be nice to see a 4th round fa cup place and make history, a potential big gun at a big ground (for the money and experience) But I want league football and ground development..

yep quite a few need game time to increase their sharpness, would not surprise me one bit if half the team is rested. £5000 up for grabs as well, and why not dream of a trip to Wembley
