Danish Branch on tour 2017

Post by Konaldo » Wed Nov 16, 2016 10:30 am

Hi Guys

Lars and I are on the lookout for this seasons trip.

Right now we are looking at the Bromley game Friday the 14 april. But whats your thoughs on this?

Easter is a big Holiday season in Denmark, and plane tickets is quite cheap. Billund-Heathrow and back is only 185£ and we only have 45 minuts drive to Billund, not the usual 3½ hours to Hamburg.

We would be arriving at Heathrow about 8pm thursday and leaving saturday morning, so that gives us great drinking time thursday night and all of Friday.

What do you guys think?

There are no cheap advance train tickets at Easter but hopefully there'll be enough to run a bus with us going for a play-off place.

Bromley is good, Dennis, you'll enjoy it but it isn't a home game at Barrow.

You know it has to be done...

"Only" 185 euros from Denmark to bloody England. Christ, I bet I can list 4 European returns I've been on from England that would only just about reach that total. I hope you're first class, with a free bar and strippers mate.

Have you got a hotel booked Dennis?

What time do you land? You can sometimes get a cheap train ticket from Manchester to Barrow if you book in advance.

Get a room booked in the Ambrose Denis, will make things a lot easier after a day on the beer.

Hi LB

We land at 18:30 in Manchester. There is a train going but if there is anybody driving to Barrow anyway, a split in petrol could be nice, and as we always enjoy the company of you guys.

Hotel should have been the duke of edinborough but that sold out over Christmas, so ive booked the ambrose.

Im also looking for a fare from barrow to Manchester on saturday night, as our flight back to Hamborg is early sunday morning.
