Club says 4,400
Website states 4,200
Steve Patton mentioned 4,188

Anybody know which figure is correct?

4414 via good old ultra reliable wikipedia or whatever the most up to date safety certificate says. ;)

Latest available capacity figure from Cumbria CC website (July 2015) was '4,414 (recommended)' - suspect 'recommended' related to the prohibition notice in force at that time due to the poor state of the 3 floodlight pylons - see pages 15/16 at:

I was there for the Leicester City game in 1968 when there was over 16,000 packed in Holker Street + a couple of games of 7,000+

The ground hasn't altered that much - I still reckon 9-10,000 could be squeezed in. BUT the H&S dudes would NEVER allow it. A shame - I used to like being squeezed like a 'sardine' - creates a much better atmosphere.

According to twitter a few hours ago there are now 750 ground tickets left. With this in mind and the possibility that these might all sell before Jan 7th, should the club hold some back for folk who will turn up ticket less?

It's a good practice run, in case we beat Rochdale and get a big home tie in the next round. ;)

All gone with the odd Dale fan in the home end, travelling from Scotland so its easier to get a ticket in the home end.
