That's absolutely ridiculous a former member of this forum and to be honest a bit insulting to me! I spent probably two or three days of my Christmas holidays sorting this, probably twelve hours on the phone to various people (a lot that I have never met or know)

If you think the way I selected people from what I've already posted is in any way a clique you are very, very mistaken.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Im sure we will see the diversity on Saturday . Might PM you 25 names and I bet all will have been " drawn"

This whole exclusion thing that happens is one of the reasons some avoid the cross bar these days.

So from turnstile operators to TT to STHs to programme sellers to NSC members to a few foreign supporters etc etc....how is that "excluding" anyone? It's the fairest way I could've done it.

No win - no win....
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

The real issue is there's nowhere pre match for us or Dale to drink like we had in Taunton as Capman says. How we appear to have handled that seems very poor. We could have put other options in and really pushed it. I'll be interested to see how the corporate works out too.

The Soccer Bar will make a killing as they are opening their ballroom and the bloke who runs it has been on Rochdale's forum actively encouraging them in, raking money in off the back of the game. Fair play to them.,we only have ourselves to blame there.

The rest of it I can't be bothered getting into. Absolute poisoned chalice for everyone who had to draw, pick or whatever they did..and if you read the post properly it was a combination. Not everyone asked wanted to go, as they've got their own pre match routine.

If you're that bothered about getting a bacon bun with Paul Ince and Kevin Kilbane Az you can go in my place with pleasure.

This hasn't been thought through at all and is going to end up costing the club alot of revenue.the place should be rammed with fans soaking up the pre match atmosphere and not a selection of persons.definitely a good way of alienating supporters poor show

Duke of Ed looks like a good option for a pre-match pint :skill:
