To be honest what I saw of him I was impressed!

Daniel Rowe played the full 90 minutes in the 2-2 home draw against Forest Green and the 2-0 away win at Boreham Wood.
In the 0-0 home draw to Boreham Wood a few days later, Daniel came off injured in the 87th minute, returning back to Wycombe Wanderers because of that injury.

He was very good in the home game against Forest Green if I remember correctly.

the rochdale number 10 will never have an easier game not wanting to knock us too much as I ultimately came away happy but our midfield was diabolical.

Rowe didn't look match fit. Didn't appear to have the energy required to put himself about to win the ball, press and break up Rochdale play. Getting booked first half didn't help his willingness to make tackles...Wright looked much more lively than Rowe & his previous matches in midfield when he came on...ideally we'd have had Turnbull playing in midfield with ARH (as we did for 1st month of our unbeaten run), but still not yet fit enough to play after his injury.

Was anonymous for most of the game. Their number 10 ran the game and we couldn't get close. Hope he improves, he will play a lot weaker sides whilst here. Rochdale were decent.

Danny's not played any first team football for Wycombe since we handed him back crocked last March so to expect him to pick up the tempo in this important game with no match fitness was unlikely. I think Akil deserved his chance with it possibly being his last game for us, give him an hour to run his socks off and then give Dan the final bit.

Spot on, sorry about that. That changes my thoughts about him a bit, however he still only played once in Nov and Dec so despite my poor investigative powers he's still lacking in recent match time which couldn't be said for Akil.
