Barrow v Southport (Tuesday)
Re: Barrow v Southport (Tuesday)
Our swag is on the wain. Really need to win this to stay in touch. A month ago this would be a cert but not as confident. Think we'll scrape a 1 - 0 but will be tough and not pretty. Could be one of our lowest attendances with them not turning up, busy month, not a particularly attractive fixture. Just over 1000 there.
I wanna take you to an Away Bar

Re: Barrow v Southport (Tuesday)
MUST WIN!
Dover - who are one place above us (and in the promotion play-off zone) are at Macclesfield on Tuesday. If they win - and God forbid, we get beat or draw - they'll go five/six points clear. Even with our two games in hand, that'll put us under extreme pressure! We also have up-coming fixtures against promotion rivals Lincoln, Tranmere and FGR to come...

Great opportunity to recover from our blip! But for that to happen we must be more creative and decisive in the final third.
Really looking forward to this game and ultimately how we respond.
Southport have just signed a central defender; http://southportfc.net/transfers-burr-c ... y-signing/

Difficult game this one. Southport have improved since we won 4-1 at Haig Ave, Barrow on a bit of slump. Will show what the players are made of tonight, to go out and win after a disappointing cup exit and the previous poor league result.
Has signed extension till the end of the season.Matty Bassdriver wrote:Akil Wright's loan spell appears to have ended yesterday:

Yeah he wasn't fully charged. Their chairman forgot and plugged him as a last minute thing.barrowfan_chris wrote:No threat at their place subbed on then subbed off again. The Real Slim a former member of this forum wrote:The return of former goal threat danger man Ashley Grimes.

Why Hannah isn't given a start is beyond me.
