Freshen up required. Three points off the playoffs, games in hand, still 20 games to play with 60 points available and we have a manager that has proven he can turn things around. No one would've complained in August. Yes we failed to see some games out earlier in the season that would've left us better placed, hindsight is a wonderful thing.

No reason to turn our backs on anyone yet.

With 20 league games to play we are going to have to win between 10/12 matches just to finish in 5th place, we are out of form so a big turn round will be required, Mr Cox has a big job on his hand`s we will wait and see

That was as bad as I've seen all season, only really Danny Livesy that looked interested. Southport are a bad bad team and our own goalkeeper got man of the match! I took a lot of stick for saying Harrison should have been subbed off on Saturday but again tonight there seemed no go in him what so ever (although he was far from the only one!) Not sure why we keep perserving with playing a central midfielder on the right wing, surely we can find a young quick winger on loan from a football league club. Season in real danger of petering out as it stands

Hardly helped by time wasting and Southport players throwing themselves to the ground and supported by a shit ref. Had enough chances to put the game to bed in the first half never mind the entire game!

Bennett did nothing, Williams was again dreadful along with numerous others, Diarra is making more and more mistakes as the season goes on (although that Moussacle kick would have been amazing) and the subs were totally anonymous when they came on (including Howarth who replaced the equally anonymous Dan Rowe). Maybe there's something in the air up here which makes Dan Rowes play badly in a Barrow shirt. We need to freshen up and get some new ideas whilst we're still in touch. Cox needs to do something to get us out of this poor run, Southport for a large majority of the game were as bad as anything I've ever seen over the years and they have nicked all 3 points. Disappointing.

Another thing is that the attendance...I didn't expect another sell out but 900 is [SwearFilter].

A lot of our players now don't try, don't close down, don't challenge for the ball.
If they can't be arsed. Don't pick them !!!!

For anyone not there, it's hard to believe just how bad that was.
Southport are awful, let's not pretend they are even a half decent side or put in a decent performance - Burr did a number on us with some of the best (or worst) spoiling tactics.
Can't blame the ref, though he was awful - as too was the lineswoman on the Wilkie Rd side. Blatant penalty in there too, when Livesey got a punch in the face at a corner.
Did Cox get much wrong? Hard to put any plans into practice when half the team puts in half-arsed performances. Can anyone recall the last good game Williams had? September time I reckon.
Bennett is okay, but he'll be down in the Conference North not long after he gets dropped here. Those two were the worst offenders, though Moussa was shown up to be positionally awful on a few occasions too.

Yes, we're still "in the play-offs conversation", but on the last two league showings we're clearly just gonna drift away quietly.

The attendance is disgraceful for a team so high in the league. I wonder how long it will be before Casson and/or Cox think they are wasting their time if attendances like that continue.
