We were tired against the heeds. We were knackered against the dale and tonight we were absolutely [SwearFilter] and outran by a somewhat ressurgent scouseport side. I'm sure there are plans afoot but it's obvious for anybody to see that we need bodies. Evidently the bodies we do have on the bench aren't in cox' plans or he would be using them. It's been a tough little run and it isn't going to get easier however we've no more football league opposition to play and cox is also going to have a lot more time with his players than perhaps he has had over the congested Christmas and new year period. I wasn't there myself but did watch the enitre match via Facebook that said it was a shame to see the empty terraces again but it's expected we know who the core supporters and the rovers are it isn't an accurate reflection of this bad patch.

I expect this to be the hump we needed to be honest as a loss to Rochdale wasn't ever really going to out a rocket up the arses of these players and without replacements regardless of fitness or form if a player knows he can't be replaced he will never perform 100% (Williams, Harrison, arh)

Collectively (Excluding Livesey) the starting 11 have become far too complacent without the fear of being dropped. Williams has become a shadow of the player from the one we seen at the back end of last year, It would be very surprising if a FL club would take a punt on him on current form. Harrison & ARH have become disinterested all of a sudden. Changes are needed fast

WE were terrible but had enough chances in the first half to win it how livesey missed when he was 3 yards how defies belief (i`ll have to see this again), diarrra h hit the bar with a tremendous overhead kick and bennett should have scored with a free header.

Then the second half i don`t know what happened or what was said at half time but it just went from bad to worse we lost all shape, passes went astray no running off the ball hardly any talking, the officials lost the plot (that`s no excuse by the way).

Bennett /harrison both constantly caught offside, jordan williams needs to sort his head out, diarra has gone backwards, there didn`t appear to be any sort of desire, there`s something seriously wrong.

If people aren`t happy then let them go, i`d rather see us miss the play offs and get some lads in who want to play with passion /desire.

Cox must be raging and as for turnbull, how much longer are we going to keep him it`s a joke just pay him off and bring someone new in.

In cox`s defence we lost the keeper, then yates and williams became distracted and when he needed turnbull he was "injured" so none of this helped, BUT now it`s put up or shut up the time for talking has stopped.

I`m quite happy where we are because deep down i know as a club we are not ready to go up (although i`d take it).

so the next few days/weeks should be interesting!

Well that wasn't good. Too many players never performed tonight and for the ones that attempt to play.....it just didn't seem to happen for them.
Not entirely certain I'd agree with the comments about Byron, he's suffering for sure but lazy! I dunno about that one.

This is where Coxy is going to earn his wages now because we've struggled for a month or so but somehow managed to grind out a few points here and there. Big month coming up.

Sub 1,000 was an atrocious attendance tonight - there really is no excuse for that after the run we've been on.

On about this in bar, a lot got paid early before Christmas, so a it's 6 week pay,
Lots of home games, matlock will be lower.
