Cox on radio.
Old us in last 25 minutes.
Expected a tough game,
Doesn't understand why people are down and moaning after the last few weeks.
amazing position to kick on from, just enjoy it.
We are a name and a scalp now,

Very very good interview with Paul Cox, keeps everything in check. You can feel that passion coming through.
"To achieve anything and to get to the Football League, we have to expect to win every game. I've got to get everyone believing that we can, and I will work hard to embed that mentality into the players, the town, the board and whoever else” Ian Evatt.

He's got a great point - these are the days of our Barrow AFC non league lives. Enjoy it.

Tranmere @ home on the 4th Feb now to be rearranged with both of us progressing.

Could be the same fixture but just I a different competition I suppose? :skill:

Absolutely bang on Paul Cox!

Was embarrassing being sat in the stand today surrounded by everyone booing as Hannah came off for Harrison and negative shouts towards Cox. The man clearly knows what he's doing, get behind him! What do you achieve by booing, anyone???

Yes it's not a great patch at the moment but as Cox said look where we are in the grander scheme of things.

Hopefully push on from this win, onwards and upwards :scarf:

Brilliant interview by Paul Cox. Passion, level headed, sense, no BS like most others, tactically beyond all of us, and he wants fun for us all. I really like him in charge. Yes we will have the off games, some of the players throwing their toys out - like Bennett today. But he picks their toys up, rattles their pram in private, and then they deliver again.

The really big feature of Cox is that he has the usual batch of player nonsense to deal with. But you don't hear him bringing them down in public.

Second thing from today was Danny Livesey - goes over to Bennett and sorts him out on the pitch - not screaming at him from 40 yards. What a captain?

Keep shopping Jeffers... Coxy needs you in ASDA.... it's part of his tactical moves. See what the 12 man can do?

You don't build a house from the 1st floor up - you need to get the foundations right to make sure it stands for a while. It may take longer than folk want and may not be done to everyone's taste. but without it we all know what will happen.

Awful for 65 minute before a Lucky ten minutes which saw 3 goals before seeing the game out.

Matlock were awful. Should not have gave us any problems but Barrow played into their hands.
