If the lights aren't good enough for BT's cameras they can always take a feed from Matthew Dodd. He always copes well with what is available.Renfrew Refugee wrote:BT Sport Scaffolding up on the Wilkie Stand, hope it isn't a wasted journey for them.

Re: Floodlights
Matt's footage is used by BT Sport for their highlights show with no complaints from them so that's always a back up plan JohnSteelworks End wrote:If the lights aren't good enough for BT's cameras they can always take a feed from Matthew Dodd. Re: Floodlights
Just drove past the ground tonight and looks like they're testing the floodlights, possibly BT Sports? Had the 2 sets in the crossbar-end on and the holker-end off. Either that or the holker-enders have finally given up the ghost! Is this game in doubt due to our dubious lighting-system?

When will the new £10 million stadium be ready?
We will foller the soccer, over land and sea...

You are very cynical you cannot buy players and have ground improvementsWintergreen wrote:Well that's something to look forward to tonight.Van Der Nipper wrote:All 4 floodlights on later on with all the bulbs working on the traffic lights corner.

Re: Floodlights
I don't think I'm being ' very cynical', merely an observation, as others have said we are 2 years into PC's stated 5-year plan and there is no visible plan yet. Talk is cheap; time for action or wallow in the mire of what could have been like we did when the NHS deal was spurned.Renfrew Refugee wrote:We are not buying players or doing ground improvementsPedro wrote:

Re: Floodlights
If we are 0-3 down with 20mins remaining there may be a floodlight incident, unrepairable.

I was being cynical .Paul Casson has enjoyed the media coverage and limelight.Wintergreen wrote:I don't think I'm being ' very cynical', merely an observation, as others have said we are 2 years into PC's stated 5-year plan and there is no visible plan yet. We have heard the jackonary part but todate his has not delivered on the ground or the player front.
Before I get my head ripped off yes he bought the ground and the players and promised to improve on both .He chose to make the commitment he needs to deliver.
Paul Casson has far from impressed me the deal with the Hospice may be acceptable by US standards.
The way some of the previous Management Team were quite rightly sacked but the method was wrong.
Paul Cox has been sending messages he needs reinforcements but Paul Casson is treating him like Custer at the Battle of Little Bighorn nothing coming on the horizon.

Re: Floodlights
I came looking for you Ken but people around that area hadn't seen you. I asked (and looked myself) people if the lights were bothering them since they'd been moved and the opinion was they were ok, whether we've had them moved since last week after I mentioned it to the club....I'm not sure.saltcellar wrote:OK will do Ian.spirit of 1990 wrote:Regarding Kens question of them shining directly into the main stand, I passed that on the other day and they're going to take a look on Tuesday.
Actually Ken, if you (or anyone else they're affecting) let me know where you sit I'll pop up on Tuesday evening and see which ones they are and I'll let the club know.
Sit in Row I seat 64
Anyway, just to let you know I hadn't forgotten about coming to see you.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.
