well we all needed that Lincoln what clowns ! all their antics did was wind the crowd up!

Everyone for once did their bit thought danny and turnbull organised really well, somebody moaned to be about not putting hannah on, but i agreed with it as Lincoln looked really physical and we needed to match their bully boy tactics.

I was really chuffed at the end, just need some more "fans" here on Saturday crowd a disgrace really but the ones there tonight played their part.

Nights like this make it all worthwhile

The difference was noticeable as early as fifteen minutes in, looked much more lively and totally committed and even Byron's injury was down to him flying in for the ball and catching one in the kipper although I think it might have been his fall from that contact that twisted his knee/ankle?
Flatt pulled off two fantastic saves, one when it was 1-0. Moussa back to pre-Christmas levels and never allowed Rhead a look in....but what a whinging moaning [SwearFilter] he is.
One of them games where it was so hard to pick a MOTM as not a player had a bad game, but I'd agree with Mark Johnson and go for Akil who chased and harried Lincoln all night.

A double over the top team.......take that level of performance into Saturdays game and we could be in for another special match.

I hope the "missing" are totally [SwearFilter] off they couldn't be arsed getting off their settee's.

Lincoln couldn't handle it and not many will if we can keep it going.

Really enjoyed that tonight great shift put in by the lads and the ole FBSS was rocking at times.

I watched a different Barrow tonight. We grew a pair and gave a performance full of determination and energy and completely threw Lincoln out of their stride.
Clever goal by Harrison getting in behind the defence and a great save from Flatt with the score at 1-0.
Second half more of the same and we even passed the ball on the deck.Further goals from Bennett and Hannah (pen) gave a deserved 3-0 scoreline which the stayaway fans will find hard to believe against the top of the league.
Full credit to all the team tonight and a MOM performance from Bennett.However, this is only one game and we have to turn out on saturday with exactly the same mindset and produce performances like tonight more often.

The game was by no means won until the late penalty. Glad I did not have to pick the man-of-the-match because every man in a whitish shirt was a hero tonight.

Funny to see the Lincoln forum saying we are a terrible advert for non-league!
That was probably one of our most aggressive displays, but it was what was needed after the run we've had.

Pleased for the.players and the management. This is what us supporters want to see week in week out, players putting their bodies on the line for the Barrow cause.
Great determination by all and real pride and passion from the supporters on the terraces and seated stand, more of this on Saturday and win loose or draw I for one will one happy Bluebird.

Great performance tonight. There was a tackle around the hour mark by ARH that summed up for me how these lads really want to play for Cox. ARH slid in hard and took the ball, man and everything else he could!! He's been here for a few seasons now, under different managers, and I don't think he'd of done that for any of the others! He was my choice for MOTM, but there were a few candidates who staked a claim too!

And for anyone who's in doubt about the footballing abilities of Harrison, just watch the video of his goal a few times. You would be forgiven for thinking it's a mis-kick but watch it a couple of more times and you realise he knows exactly what he's doing! At this level he's quite often the best player on the pitch, but because he's not perceived as a "work horse" he gets a bit of stick he doesn't deserve IMHO!

Bring on FGR, and hopefully a few more through the turnstiles because if beating the league leaders 3-0 doesn't bring them through the gates I can't see what else will!! Casson and Cox must be scratching their heads wondering what else they need to do!!

We were up for it, certainly, but I'm not sure Lincoln had their eye on the FA Cup match. They were after the three points at Holker Street, but were beaten by the better side on the night. Barrow weren't going to be bullied into submission by Lincoln's aggressive style of play, and when the visitors realised this they didn't know what to do about it.

Another performance like this on Saturday against Forest Gump would do just nicely, please; let's put the previous poor performances behind us as a mid-season blip.

Really hope Harrison is ok. A level above anyone else in the squad.

Seen a few comments on here recently that he's lazy / uninterested which is total nonsense. Great win but I think we will lose on Saturday, FGR the best side I've seen this season
