This would kind of support both arguments to that. As Fleetwood progressed higher their attendances went up ( I know there are many other factors like Blackpools demise and a different location to us etc) but as Fleetwood have had good seasons their support has grown. Couple that with a lot of stadium renovation and a club that can now provide most of its own income then its a winning mixture than has seen the best results possible.olbarrafancumbak wrote:unfortunately, fans wont just land up on the back of one good season.. it will take time!! However, as said before by so many the ground is in dire need of something?? spectator comfort is a big big thing along with having a decent tem to watch.. imo, it goes hand in hand and until facilities improve I doubt the crowds will increase by more than a few hundred! FFS, I just wish more people would jump on board and get behind something that is local an on the door step!

Fylde on the other hand have seen increases in crowds with the building of a shiny new stadium ( again with things being put in place to increase income other than that of the chairmans pocket money) Fylde had a plan, then managed to balance infrastructure with playing budget and its worked, similar to Fleetwood. We are pretty much 90% - 95% playing budget it would seem.
The club needs a direction. It needs some sort of plan to aim for. It needs to have checkpoints to make sure its still on track. At the moment it just seems as if its playing football with a big wage budget and existing. No one really knows whats going on at the moment and its the perfect time for the clubs owner to come out and say " Right then, lets shut all these people up and show them we mean business, here are our aims and how we plan to meet them."
