Re: Chester tonight
If we can get a result on Saturday this really could be happening, that is a tremendous win

Re: Chester tonight
If you have a look at the remaining fixtures of everybody in a challenging position, they would love to have our run in. The ball is in our court. IMO there are two play off spots up for grabs. Let's push on from here and try and get one.
Re: Chester tonight
So impressed by Barrow tonight. Worked so hard for each other 2-1 flattered Chester. Why do we have to let a goal in near the end? Possibly to shed our nerves I suppose. But it wouldn't be Barrow would it if they made it easier for us!
Lets try not to slip up against a team in the lower section of the league this saturday. Nothing is easy but we do seem to play more freely away from home.

Re: Chester tonight
An excellent win. A good performance with some clever play at times.
Didn't think Chester were very good. Their fans didn't either, but they hated Barrow. We did look mean and "professional" at times - just what's required.
Great to see all the players really, really up for it. The travelling fans were very supportive.
Worth going to see Hannah's shot from 45 yards. Only just saved.
My man of the match would have been Turnbull, but no one had a bad game. The makeshift full backs did a good job.

Fans from around the league didn't enjoy our result tonight!

Re: Chester tonight
Not seen that website before - some lovely comments about us on it! FGR is the best - they were so interested in intimidating the ref and play acting when they came to Barrow it was a joke. Thing is they can play football - when they want to - but their attitude is one that they think they have a god given right to get promoted. Love to do them in the play offs if we get there.Matty wrote:Fans from around the league didn't enjoy our result tonight!

Re: Chester tonight
Thanks for all of the comments last night. We have an excellent commentary team in Adam Johnson and Matt Ryder, who also paid for their transport costs (fuel) out of their own pockets! We have started to stream the games that we cover, as a service to our patients, staff & visitors at Furness General Hospital, as they have requested the ability to use their own laptops, tablets, smart phones etc, in addition to the service that we always provide via the Hospedia bedside units.BoltonBlue wrote:Cracking listen tonight that, head and shoulders above Radio Carlisle.BillyBlue wrote:
First time I've heard Radio Lonsdale and really impressed, no needless chatter just all about the game.
However, your constructive feedback is very welcome and makes our hard work seem very worthwhile. We will be streaming Saturday's game from Maidstone and, as always, the internet stream becomes live on our website 10 minutes prior to Kick Off, so that we don't get hit with additional music licencing fees. Radio Lonsdale also provides regular social media updates on our facebook and twitter sites during the game whenever volunteer numbers allow.

I am going to make a donation to Radio Lonsdale each time I listen to help with their costs. It's a financial burden if these lads have to pay their own way whilst providing excellent coverage. I know Adam puts the time in with his research etc.
Anyone else want to do so?
