I would rather we concentrate on the infrastructure and get that geared for the football league first and foremost.

All easy to say when it's not your own money.

Or not my asset but if i bought something i would have a plan,would communicate to people who supported me and build a structure .
I would delegate to people i trusted rather than be a absent landlord.
To many people see criticism of the Owner as wrong but this is not North Korea.
People say we have done well and i agree considering the lack of investment in January.

This season will not be remembered for our position at Christmas but the poor finish since January.

There are such a lot of negative posts and doubters. Rome wasn't built in a day and all that. We have the nucleus for a good team if we can retain all our best players and get them all fit. Some defensive cover and a couple of midfield players then we can challenge for promotion again next season. Onwards and upwards. Enjoy the ride

We have had an enjoyable roller coaster of a season with some memorable moments along the way.
However, off the field activities and communications have again been poor this term. With the TV cameras long gone and the season petering out, we have heard little of real substance from the owner. He’s regarded as one of us, and he initially had solid backing and good will from the community; but his continued silence about the long term seems to be sowing seeds of doubt in that same community.

I think another get-together is long overdue to hear the honest thoughts of the owner now that he has got a better grasp on the situation at the club than he had when he first addressed the supporters at the Forum over three years ago. Commercial activity has been a real disappointment with many missed opportunities and the stadium redevelopment talk of architects, steering groups, traditional layouts etc. has sunk without a trace.

Sometimes the truth can hurt, but honesty is usually the best policy and we the supporters deserve an update so we can keep behind the owner unreservedly and with confidence to continue the football club’s resurgence. Who knows, maybe Paul Casson’s greatest resource might turn out to be those self same supporters who backed him so wholeheartedly way back in 2013.

Either he says he will build a squad for promotion or a squad for mid-table survival - seems that either statement would draw derision on here.
He's not promising promotion, he's saying that the squad we assemble this summer should be capable of promotion, and that'll do for me.

Obviously Fylde will go out and buy a squad to dominate the league, so it will be a challenge for us to pick up some bargains, but you'd have to back Cox to at least improve on what we've got.

Probably because he gets paid by the club to manage .

He's hardly going to come out and say he's building a team just to stay up is he? We have the basis of a good starting 11, few additions and hopefully go a bit closer next season
It's off the field we still really need to sort out, we need some more proper football people in key roles

Good to see a recent flurry of activity on social media, exactly what we should be doing and hopefully something that will continue.
Noticed the club shop is looking healthier from today's post, fingers crossed that also continues. Its basic stuff but they seem to be getting the hang of it.

On the field it will be tough, hard to predict, we will have some more north west competition, especially if Tranmere don't go up, might have to try and pluck some more gems from lower leagues like Williams and Bennet.
