Surprised at Livesey and Beeley going, although I can kind of understand it with Cox's comments. Also, you don't know what's happened in the background regarding personal preferences, other clubs etc.

Livesey offered more than just solidity at the back - he was the skipper and helped to organise things as well as bring on Diarra in my opinion.

But - we have to see who Cox brings in. As someone has said, if they are replaced by better players then we'll all see the logic of it in 3 to 4 months time.

Surprised to see our skipper being released!
Also surprised to see Harry Panayiotou being retained - not because of factors relating to his ability - simply because he barely got a game last season and because of rumours suggesting he was unhappy here.

Think Harry is under contract for next season.

Biggest disappointment for me is releasing Beeley. I thought he had a good season. I hope Newby gets a try at 1st team football. I hope we get the signings we need to strengthen onwards and upwards

Huge disappointment to be loosing players of the calibre of Danny and Shaun, we must have the next equivalent of the Baresi brothers lined up, so I'm sure every little things going to be alright!

Lindon seemed to struggle at times to get enough minutes on the pitch, he came back well from his loan spell. But with young Elliott Newby looking like he will be given a chance then an understandable call.

Inih Effiong and Andy Coughlin never really got a look in so again understandable.

Wish them all the very best of luck for their futures, but in Paul Cox we entrust!!
