Noticed scaffolding up under the middle of the stand on passing this morning, guessing that's to finish off the blasting and painting. Either that or they have found Gary Simpson. :o

Any update on the new floodlights work - after all, we've been promised they'll be ready for end of this month.

Is anyone going past the club that could take a few pictures and post on here for us exiles?

I'll be calling in tomorrow so I'll get some pictures of the main stand work and the pitch (or lack of at the moment) I think I have your e-mail address but if you can PM me it I'll get them sent off to you.

Nothing was in place yesterday for the floodlights but I'll get an update on them while I'm there.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Who is removing the floodlights? the price of scrap is quite good at the moment so could be sold off for the trust.

Looks like a lot of work going on to provide a good playing surface, for next season.
Good pics from the club via social media.

Spoke with our groundsman Gareth at the End of Season Awards and he told me he had not been happy with the quality of the surface all season. Also that it will be marked out a bit closer to the Ray Wilkie stand next season.
Still searching for the Young Soul Rebels

Good was like being at the Olympic stadium last season. ;)
Stood behind Ray Wilkie for years. Best education I ever had.

Fair point. Maybe I wasn't specific enough - I mean anything to show the progress of taking them down (if thats started?)

I love seeing any progress going on at the club as I only get to the ground approximately 2/3 times a year
