I think there will be an announcement on Wednesday, possibly Thursday this coming week Paul.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Hope it's not a wet day on Sat 8th against Blackburn then - might be a bit dull if the lights aren't ready ??

So we're hopefully getting 40x 2kw lights overlooking the pitch. That's 10 per quarter of the pitch, should be nice and bright.

How can work begin on Monday if the club hasn't got planning consent and a decision isn't due until mid-July?
It all comes 'round again.

I think if I remember rightly on the last weekly video, they said something along the lines of they can do work inside the ground, but need permission when they need access from outside?

Looking at the plans submitted, the way I read it is there'll be 9 lights at the top of each popular side pole, 6 at the top of each pole at either end of main stand, 2 additional lights at a height of 20m on each pole pointing at both goalmouth areas & 4 across the top of the main stand..

Don't understand where you get that info from - plan of ground on the application clearly shows four poles, one in each corner of the ground & 40 lights quoted, presumably 10 to each pole.
Or I may have interpreted it completely differently.
