Re: Floodlights Update
Just been down after work today a former member of this forum, hardly "ripping up the newly laid pitch"The Real Slim a former member of this forum wrote:Now ripping up the newly laid pitch to lay floodlight cables.
The pitch perimeter has moved 1m away from the main stand, the trench runs in between that and the new pitch markings . The trench along the Cross Bar end does similar. The playing area of the pitch hasn't been touched at all.
The holes for the floodlight foundations have been dug (as shown already) but the one you wont have seen yet is by the Asda corner of the terracing. Quite a depth that one because of the extra height of the terrace.
For any exiles who'd like to see the work so far, if you drop me a pm with your e-mail address I'll send them off to you.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.
