If the shirts didn't display such a horrid advertising logo (no offense to the sponsors) I'd probably buy one to wear as a Polo-Shirt.

I don't 'do' advertising on football shirts and as there isn't an option to buy one without any I'll do without...

They've sold 80 odd today.

Lots of folk at the club and Ronan gave my grandson aa wee tour round.

He picked the Burgundy/Maroon/Wine Red one

Only gripe is no shorts and socks which meant a trip to Identity.

Are Identity selling official shorts and socks or just ones to match?

How are the shirts in general quality-wise?

Seems having a different coloured third shirt has created a bit of interest. Maybe the club could consider a different colour every season for the 3rd kit (until there are no more colours).

Not a direct question to you BA but are the shirts available in town anywhere?

The club aren't selling shorts and socks with any of the kits-they don't exist.

It's Player Layer's fault apparently, some cock up or other

I just thought St Paul's school was about the closest so they'd have the colour (shorts don't match that well tbh but sports socks do). You'd be cheaper and maybe closer a match online. Just because when you are five a kit means..well.. a kit.

Fair play. Shame there are no official shorts / socks available.

I used to be more than happy with a box kit back in the day.

Although tenosynovitis might be an issue if you had to sew our badge on by hand.

Looks like the club have it about right with the shirts, pushing 80 sales on the first day and still people wandering in at 4:30.

I liked the look of the maroon/red/burgundy/oxblood/claret one before I saw them, still like it but think I'll go for the blue in the end.

Just out of interest I asked which was selling best, seeing as the one that isn't blue or white has created a bit of a stir.....all about equal on the first day.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

What did your grandson get a tour of Steve, I hope he does'nt think all football grounds look like that  I hope you paid for the tour, as the owner is losing millions.

Popped down this morning to get myself the maroon shirt. I actually really like it, and like some have said already, good to see the club shop decked out with shirts in advance of the pre-season.

The main issue for me with the home shirt is the colouring on the JF Hornby logo, should've really just been text like the two alternates.

These are much better than the previous seasons imo. Aren't the player issue kits slightly different anyway?
