I hope the one that run over Segregation fence and the ones from there end will be subject to the same as the barrow fans are, or are the Club and the police just going to do what they do all the time blame it all on the barrow fans and just try to get them banned.

Why are the away fans able to take glass bottles of alcohol into the ground? Then drink them in the ground while the game is on.Think it's more than just one issue that needs dealing with here. The fact that fans had to step in to control the situation highlights the poor stewarding there is at the ground.

We shouldn't even need stewards, but unfortunately football attracts utter morons. Obviously there was some wrongdoing on Blackburn fans' part, but they were there for the football.
The stupid kids on our side of the fence probably couldn't tell you what the score was (discounting the fact they all left before full-time). I heard a few of them on the phone on my way back down Holker Street, and it's clearly just a game to these [SwearFilter]. Same group that bricked the York bus, or are we overrun by Scallies? These should be, and rightly are where the police should be focusing their attention.

I'm not sticking up for the young idiots but simply pointing out that there are other issues going on. It is against the ground rules to bring alcohol into games but that seems to be ignored, so we end up having glass bottles in the ground which is very dangerous.The trouble on the holker st end is the reason i never stand there.

Away supporters are allowed to bring alcohol into the ground, as in Wrexham and Macclesfield in the past. Barrow stewards brick it with anyone from outside LA land but take great delighr in persecuting locals, that's a given. However, that's no excuse for the behaviour yesterday.

Not a bad friendly really. Some ok footy on show, but probably not representative of very much that's coming our way when the season starts proper. One monster throw from our new left back in the first half (Ames?) is just what we need if we are in for the same style as last season. The goalie Moore was good, but then was poor for their first goal. They were a good squad of talented players, but we didn't look overwhelmed by any stretch of the imagination. Pitch excellent, as you'd expect in July.
The crowd trouble needs sorting fast. Video ID and lengthy bans, segregation further from opposition fans, better stewarding (easy to say but not to implement), and a police presence.

Agreed on that point. Though it isn't always easy to spot unless you have stewards surrounding them from every angle. Whatever the solution, it's gonna cost more money to police - it wouldn't be needed if we only had fans there to watch the game.

Most games in the national league don't need segregation if u ask me, the segregation seems to attract the Muppets more than anything else
