Managing Director?!?!?

Post by EHB » Tue Jul 25, 2017 10:50 pm

Read the press release 're Richie Bennett.
Since when was Andrew Casson managing director?

Straker going as ceo is a positive move in my opinion. But with a title of managing director does that suggest Andrew casson is his replacement?

Surely we need a proper ceo? With experience!!!!

More cost cutting?????

BEWARE TONGUE IN CHEEK COMMENT!

I actually heard Andrew casson bases his decisions regards players from his football
Manager prowess. Now I know Everton also admitted to once using the databases of football games for scouting purposes but I don't think they meant the handheld version.

When I asked Jamie Reid if Austin straker had left he told me I should ask him that. I then said he isn't here to ask that question at which point I was told I had my answer then.

Feel sorry for mr Reid he had a hard time tonight I hope he got that brew he went for. Shame other bosses and staff weren't there to share some of the flack.

If your going to buy your kids a toy to play with make sure it's not a football club, especially one that means so much to a lot of good people!!!
Thank you Austin and Margret, you didn't always get it right all of the time but two honest genuine people you certainly were.
The end of a long and trusted friendship is probably the thing that hurts the most right now. Health and happiness to you both.

Margaret will be a big loss as she seemed to like the community side,
Austin nice man, enjoyed chatting to him.

What is actually going on!

Andrew was made managing director last week.. Mr casson snr has passed over the reigns while he concentrates on his own business in the states.. I've spoken with Andrew on several occasions and he is passionate about taking the club forward and getting football league..! We have to take that at face value of course.. people will always come and go, that's life! What's gone on behind the scenes we don't know and to simply speculate is playground behaviour! It's not ideal to sell best playerst so close to start of season but we have made good money, something the club hasn't done since JaSe left us.. I'm not sweating just yet, disappointed players have left but good luck to them, they all deserve a crack!

If Barrow have ambitions of being a football league side then it needs to employ people with experience of running a football league club.

+2. Surely this isn't so proposterous to even perhaps employ somebody with football league experience in an advisory role.

Will only be a matter of time before people open their eyes and realise this.

Andrew Casson in the NWEM today - "Working furiously behind the scenes to get everything over the line".

Shouldn't have to be doing this 10 days before the start of the season! Just been on Dagenhams website and they have 26 players listed, lets hope whichever 11 out of our 13 put up a good fight. Embarrassing.

The coffee machine is on the bench for Dagenham. We hope to sell it on to Last Resort in 2018 as it seeks to progress
