Simon Grand did it frequently.
The atmosphere has always been poor at home. Away fans have a belly full of beer and aren't as diluted as home fans. Also the grounds lack of roofs doesn't help. Made some good noise down in Dagenham under that roof.
I must have missed that. Wasn't Simon Grand a defender??? Must have found it difficult running back into position! What was he doing leading the attack! I wasn't talking about corner kicks...

The atmosphere HASN'T always been poor. Yeah; I do know about away fans and beer. I usually consume plenty when I travel! Making noise is good but Dagenham's NOT Holker Street, son.

Simon Grand did it a lot. He used to virtually always go up for free kicks and would stand in front of the keeper waving his hands and shouting. Then he'd get in the wall. Did you watch any of the Edmo era ? Haha

Well it is quite a distressing image.

I'm all upset now, I was trying to watch Harry P attempting to score in an open net and this has distracted me
You were at the game and also on your phone reading the comments on this site??? Bizzare! lol
Welcome to the 21st century my friend.

It was only the warm up, I went in plenty of time as I had anticipated problems with my advance ticket - I was correct.

I wasn't talking about free kicks! READ and disgest what I wrote, you Na Na!
And I never mentioned Cockerline waving his hands and shouting. I mentioned 'psyching' the keeper out - and it was with his eyes!

Did I watch any games from the Edmo era? Yeah, quite a few.
Did you watch any from the Colin Appleton/Ray Wilkie era? You missed a treat!

Sorry mate, I thought you were (attempting) to watch the game whilst oggling your phone. Thought it a bit strange - even stranger when you mentioned Harry P missing an open goal!

I wouldn't have bothered with saving a quid off your admission - I arrived 10 mins before kick-off, obtained my ticket from reception and walked straight in...

Behave that was exactly what you meant you just got shown up. It happens to us all at some point.

I think I need to 'explain' something. I was referring to Cockerline's activities when Barrow were 'attacking' the Halifax goal - NOT at set pieces. Do both of you UNDERSTAND?

K-Man, if you actually READ and ASSIMILATE you'll notice I don't mention set pieces - free kicks/corners.
Please don't tell me to behave - I KNOW what I meant. YOU don't. If you READ - you will.
Maybe the Arabian sun has scrambled your brain cells?

Simon Grand leading our attack??? It's no wonder he isn't around anymore...

What so when Barrow were attacking our center forward just stood still staring at their goalkeeper? And you enjoyed it? I'd prefer it if he attacked and tried to score.

The moment I was referring to was when we had a free kick in the second half and Cockerline was stood in front of the keeper putting him off, before the ref told him to pack it in.

Are you really telling me when Barrow were going forward that Cockerline was stood giving the keeper the eye rather than getting into position for a cross, making a run etc etc? This forum gets better and better

Oh, so the penny has finally dropped, K-Man! Comprehende!

But...now you're taking a pop at me because I enjoyed it?

Yes; I did...I laughed out loud. It was funny. What's that got to do with you?

I still don't think you've grasped it, though?
We WEREN'T actually attacking.
The keeper had the ball in his hands...our attack had been foiled.

Do you both get it?

So that's the story ? He stared at the keeper for a bit ?

Oh, Jes*s!

I NEVER made any big deal out of it.

I merely mentioned it when commenting about last night's game.
You, K-Man and Hadrian, however, have. And I've put you straight about it...okay.

Are you three, a former member of this forum in disguise? It has crossed my mind...lol
