You can plan for a bigger squad but Casson said no more. Should have named hall on the bench even with no intention of playing him

Re: Dover Athletic vs Barrow AFC match thread
Unless there's another setback Byron should hopefully be back in contention in the next week or so. Fitzpatrick was interviewed last night on radio Cumbria and he said he is ahead of schedule with his ACL injury but still three weeks or more away from a return.

Would have been better in that case to put Byron on the team sheet. At least that way Dover might change tactics late in the game thinking he'd come on despite us having no intention of doing it.
Re: Dover Athletic vs Barrow AFC match thread
The fine work of radio Lonsdale getting a special mention by Andy Wood on radio Cumbria.

Thats what Ive been saying but getting stick for.
Byron was supposed to be fit last season hopefully not a recurring injury but he will get a hard tackle when he plays and can see him getting hurt again
Way to small a squad to mount a challenge

I wonder if we have the smallest squad in the league?

We mounted a none-too shabby but failed challenge last season with fewer signed players and more loans.Pedro wrote: ↑Sat Aug 19, 2017 3:25 pmDaveBarter wrote: ↑Sat Aug 19, 2017 3:12 pm The return of Parry, Byron and Joel was supposed to be here already. The manager said he needed 22 in the squad, he has 21 at the moment so I'll ask you again: how many do you want in your squad? And, remember, we have to be sustainable according to you so no exorbitant wage bill.Pedro wrote: ↑Sat Aug 19, 2017 3:25 pmDaveBarter wrote: ↑Sat Aug 19, 2017 3:12 pm The return of Parry, Byron and Joel was supposed to be here already. Injured it seems. Didn't take part in warm-up.

Re: Dover Athletic vs Barrow AFC match thread
Audel goes on a run from his own half, beats three men but sadly not the Dover keeper.
